Good afternoon all.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

I am taking Mary to the Dallas Zoo tomorrow, but I have not told her yet.  Just the two of us.  Then out to eat.  Then she is babysitting my son's kids while I take a nap.  I will be working overtime late tomorrow.  Then, on Sunday, we will go see Kirk Cameron preach at First Baptist Dallas.

What's your plans?

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Evenin' George...
Actually had a fairly productive day!  I went to get my oil changed and get a daytime running lightbulb replaced at the usual place we go for all our vehicle needs.  Great family owned and operated place.  The guy who owned it for years has retired but is there every day anyway as he only sold it to his son.  That son and one other son are there along with some other long-term guys.  We know anytime we have to take the cars in there, if they call us and say something is needing to be fixed, then we know it truly needs fixing.  If he gives us a list of things, he'll tell us, "look, if money is an issue, then I'd say you fix this, this, and this as you can leave that one and this other one for later"...  Love that!  Anyway, took my Suburban in there and asked James if they ever sponsored any kids for stuff like soccer teams as Sarah's team still needed a sponsor.  If any team can't find a sponsor by the fourth week when they take the season pictures, then all the parents have to fork over an additional $35!  We've had to do that a lot more than we used to but times are definitely harder.  We actually have a family on our team who owns a local restaurant, buuuut, they have three kids and I think they already have sponsored one of their other kids.  So after asking, James told me they normally pick two families that they sponsor and that's it - I mean, two that they sponsor for the duration of however long they play a sport!  He told me the two families' names but then said, "well, the XXX family doesn't have any more kids needing sponsoring so we were actually wanting to fill that slot so you guys can have it and as long as she's playing, you can count on us to sponsor her team!  YIPPEEE!!!!  I was happy...as were all the other parents when I told them at practice that we found a sponsor!  I couldn't be happier, too, because I like having a company that we know and can honestly tell people we know how their work is.  It's hard finding someone to work on your car honestly without feeling like someone is just out to get your money!!!

Came home from practice, fed everyone, then took Schnitzel for a long walk.  Beautiful crisp night!!!

Sarah's game is around 10:45 tomorrow so need to get to bed!
