What the hell? *Update*
Whoa the internet is slow here. I updated the title before I could get the update in. Ugh!
Came in this morning and Eric has had his lung check and it looks good. Good saturation, etc. This is good news because they want to start him on BLEO and if his lung function was bad we'd have to go with a different approach which might not be as effective. MRI revealed no tumors on his brain. YAHOOOOOOO! Bone scan to come next which will look for mets to the bone (not too worried to be honest). All in all VERY good news. I told the resident we're going to have a problem if we don't start chemo soon. They don't want to rush and they don't want us to rush into anything but I'm gonna be spittin' mad if we have to delay two more days because of some test that can't be performed over the weekend. I think that is a reasonable expectation. Get it done today so we can start, please.
We'll know more when the attending chemo doc (sorry I don't know titles) and she's put some time aside so we can really fine tune details, ask questions, etc. I'll update again when I know more. I'm just feeling so much better today. God is good!!!
