I did it ... I finally did it!
Last month at the Dallas OH Conference, Terry T. and I celebrated the 3rd anniversary of our weight loss surgery. On Sunday, I celebrated by fulfilling one of the goals I had set for myself. I climbed and hiked up Enchanted Rock. This was one of my goals when I had weight loss surgery. I've been planning and preparing for a long time. Read all the details and see pictures on my profile. My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Fredericksburg. Our honeymoon suite overlooked Enchanted Rock (Trois Estate is heavenly, btw). We tried, but I could not make it to the top. I intend to return on our anniversary and make it all the way to the top. If not this April, then next for our fifth anniversary. I have photos of this last attempt at the big rock on my profile as well. I lived in SanAntonio for several years and made it to the top a couple times in my 20s. The view was amazing from what I remember. I can't wait to do this with DH on our anniversary.
