Help - Starting a support group

I am looking to start a support group where I work.  I work for a chemical company and in the plant I work at there are five people who have or are going to have WLS.  This company has several plants in the site.  So I know there are alot of people who have or planning on having WLS.  Our health department has nothing (yet) to help us.  So there are a few of us who wants to start a support group.  We are planning to meet once a month during our lunch break.  Also looking at other activities outside of the work place.

Now for the help issue.  If any one has suggestions or advise or material on how to start a small support group please post here or send me an email [email protected] .

OH offers an excellent support group leader program.  Once you become a leader, you will have access to OH magazines, monthly agendas and handouts etc.  So basically, the work is done for you. How have you been?  Missed you around here.

Doing great.  Busy with work and family life.  I have been a lurker for a long time but to lazy to post.  I made a post to my page on what I am trying to do here at work.  There seems to be a gap here at the company I work for.  They (and our insurance company) are spending a lot of money for these surgeries with no follow up / support.  My journey has been, mostly, easy.  But others are having problems / issues.  They don't want to drive up to Houston or Pearland to the support group meetings, so we are trying to start something down here.
