Woo Hoo Wednesday!
Good Morning Alisssa and the rest of my TMB Family,
I am so glad that you and Bryan are feeling better today. I have been so lucky this year with no flu or colds. (knocking on wood) The day is finally here. My WooHoo today, The packers will be here at 9:00 am. I still have a few things to do before they get here but I am sure I can get it done. The ladies from the church gave me a nice going away party last night. We had lots of laughs and a few tears too. I have been truley blessed with such a wonderful Church family. Somthing that is so important to me. Have not heard from Rebecca since early last night. Has anyone else? I am going to try and get over there today to see her. Will depend on how things are going with the movers. My computer has been packed up by Mark, so I am on the lap top and it will be computer till after we get to Dover. The only thing I dont like is the keyboard but guess I will get used to it. Oh well guess that is is for me this morning. Prayers for all those in need but special ones for Viv and her son and his gf. Its a long road ahead but stay strong. You know where I am if you need me. Rebecca that she is getting stronger and will be home soon. Gaye as she continues to recover from surgery. Danni as she prepares fro Tim's deployment. I know its not easy. Que and Tom, I know you guys are getting excited about your party this weekend. I know it is going to be a blast. I will be looking for lots of pictures of all the gools and goblins. Good morning all! Where did the night go?? CRAP...Even woke up 20 minutes before the alarm...sheesh...guess I meant to start the day already...
I actually have a WOOHOO I've been sitting on since Sunday-just waiting for today-WOOHOOs are a bit harder to come at 7 yrs out, ya know..well, most you don't know YET, so you'll just have to believ me...anyhoo...I've been pretty darn good at the "Obedient October Back to Basics" thing (even though I'm terrible at posting, KARLA)..I won't let myself weigh, but thought my clothes were feeling "better". Friday is "jeans" day at work. I had washed/dried the one pair of jeans that fit and put them on, etc. I was mad at myself all day, because they just seemed "tighter" than they should-even after I THOUGHT I had been "good"...I didn't realize until Sunday, when I did laundry, that Friday I had worn my "skinnier jeans" that I couldn't get past my a@@ 2 months ago and stuck back in the closet. Yea, they were "tight" but WOOHOO I had worn them all day and to the football game Friday night, never knowing I had the "wrong" jeans on..Okay that's MY WOOHOO for the week!!
Work is pretty much the pits again-very stressful. The person they "replaced" me with is back from surgery. I was told she wouldn't be back, she'd be fired, she'd quit, etc, etc...yadda, yadda, yadda...she's back..it's hell...racism is alive and well in Arlington..and it ain't coming from ME..just sayin'...But the residents are precious and I must keep my focus on THEM!
