Woo Hoo Wednesday!

GOOD MORNING! Its Woo hoo Wed and my woo hoo is that I'm upright! I'm up early, but I did fall asleep about 7:30pm last night!
So, all aboard!

I owe I owe and I have no time left so its off to work I go! I did go to Care Now yesterday and they put me on a Z-pac and cough medication and said I have an upper respiratory infection. Not too much fun. I do feel better today. Bryan I think does too so I'm sure he'll go to work as well. Now we just hope Chris doesn't get it.
My other woo hoo is I've lost at least 7 pounds-haven't weighed today-in the last 5 days, but I know that's just because I've been sick. lol.
I just want to stay well so I can head to Tom and Que's party! The doc did say I'm not infectious so that's good.
Prayers for healing for Gaye and Eric.

Hi Alissa & TMB!

I know the I owe routine because I am already at work...LOL!  My woo hoo is that I have been chosen to be on the local Mardi Gras Court!  I have already begun to "internet" shop for my dress.  I want to try to lose at least another 10 pounds prior to me making a purchase.  So for now, I have been just looking.  I am so excited and honored and I am looking forward to all of the festivities and parties that lead up to the gala on February 6th.  Take good care of yourself so you can party at Que's.

FAITH-how exciting!!!! What kind of dress? How many parties? Do you get to ride on a float? DETAILS, girl!!!!!

Hey (((Gina))) it is exciting!  It has to be a belle of the ball type of dress so very fancy.  We will be having a meeting soon so that I can find out more details.  There are eight of us on the court.  We each have to give our own party prior to the "big" gala on Feb 6th.  I am told that there is at least an additional 2-3 parties besides the eight that we will have.  I believe we do have to participate in the Mardi Gras parade and ride the float but I am unsure.  There will be lots of parties and I must begin a serious routine of accountability for the next two months so that I can really enjoy myself at all the festivities.  Once I find out more definite details, I will let you know.  I would love for some of my TMB family to attend the event with me.

Faith that's awesome!!  I admire your spirit so much and I know your city loves your right back for everything you do for the citizens.  You deserve this so much.  Now put those carbs down-you've got to look HOT!!!
