Big Medicine - New Episode Coming Up

A friend received an email from Dr. Garth Davis asking for a favor that she spread the word about his show and a need for higher ratings.  This is what he said...

Big Medicine's all new "Where are they now" episode is airing on November 18 during prime time on Discovery Health.  It is basically a do or die for the show.  We have to get a good rating or the show will be cancelled.

 

The problem is that Discovery Health is almost dissolved at this time and is not advertising the show at all.

 

I would really appreciate it if you can blog as much as possible and tell others to blog about the show.  Let them know that if they want Big Medicine to continue we need viewers on that one night.

 

If we pull a high rating and the show is picked up again the producers feel it could be picked up for several seasons on TLC or maybe even Oprah channel.

I need to set it on my calendar now so I do not forget it.

I already have it DVR'd on my t.v.  Wow, I want it to continue!

I'm no expert, but don't you have to be a Nielsen family to even count in the ratings?  It might be more beneficial to write to Discovery Health and tell them you watch (not DVR since you skip the ads) and that you buy from their advertisers...listing one or two of them out.  If they know you watch AND buy, then you are of value to them.  Money talks.  Here's what I found online at Discovery Health's FAQ page.

I love the show, too and told the doc so when I met him at the OH Event last month.  If it wasnt' for the show, my husband wouldn't have understood what I was going through.  He watched the show with me and really was able to understand the surgery itself to the point he became comfortable with it. 

I used the link you provided and easily sent Discovery Health a message! I challenge all of you to do the same! It only takes a couple of minutes!! Save Big Medicine!!
