TUESDAY WL EXPRESS !!!!
Viv...prayers for you and your family on your son and his gf's recovery.
Danni...prayers for you and your family as you prepare for Tim to leave. I know that has to be so hard. Yes, Ben comes home most weekends unless I'm elsewhere or over there in Aggieland for football games. He stays Fri, Sat and Sun then goes back for the week. He called last night and had gone to a math tutorial place and said it was only $10.50 for an hour and a half and it helped a lot. He was going back today to finish up preparing for a math test on Thursday. I told him $21 for each test prep was well worth it and I would be glad to pay for it! He was also meeting a guy at the gym after that to help the other boy w/ his workouts so that was a good thing too...hopefully he'll make some friends he will go do things with.
Prayers for Steph and her banged up knee and Gaye recovering and all others who need our prayers.
Have a great Tuesday!

Good morning train riders...news from the doc is that nothing is broken or torn but he was amazed at how swollen and bruised it is. I now have bruising from 2 inches above the knee to 4 inches below it. He said there is so much blood under the skin that a blood clot is a very real possibility. He put me on aspirin and ibuprofen daily. We discussed the "no NSAID/bypass rule" vs a blood clot and decided it was worth the risk to take it for a week or two. He told me to expect bruising all the way down to my foot before it's over. He wants me on crutches as well. I have a walking cane thing with the 4 feet on it and I'll use that instead. I can't do crutches. My plan is just to stay off it as much as possible.
To make matters worse, when we left the doctors we went to the store and did a huge grocery shopping trip. We got home to find our fridge dead and everything melted and defrosted. It must of been off all day. Luckily, we have an extra fridge in the garage and a deep freezer. So we were able to salvage a lot of it. Biggest loss was my Blackberry Cobbler Ice Cream that I ration and savor. It was completely warm soup!! We have a home warranty so it will only cost $60 to get it fixed. Hopefully, I can get all the shelves cleaned today while it's empty if I can stand that long.
Hope everyone is having a better month than me. I swear Lynnette sent her curse to my house. Well it's time to send it on to someone else...next??

I also had a meeting with my acedemic advisor yesterday. I've been approved for Dynamic classes, which are 5 week courses online instead of the traditional semesters. This cuts at least 6 months off my total time in school so I'm very excited about that. The only scary part is the first class starts Nov 11 at UTA and I don't finish my current 4 classes (traditional) at TC****il the week of Dec 10. So for 5 weeks they will overlap. After that, however, it'll be much easier because there won't be any overlap.
Today I plan to study for a government test till 10am, then I go get a filling, come back and study some more before working at the gym this evening. I think I'm going to squeeze a nap in there after lunch, afterall that's what vacations are for!
