Not sure yet if it is good or not.   My middle son and his GF get out of Detox today and today is my baby son's 19th birthday.   Busy day planned and not by me either.  Grrrr    I have been up and awake since 3.  Not sure why though.   Guess nervous about the kids coming here to live and not knowing for sure what I will be faced with.   Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we adjust.   Trust will definately have to be rebuilt that is for sure !

Hugs and blessings ~~ Vivian

Good Morning Viv and TMB,

Nothing much going on here today except to take my BF out on a date tonight.  I have been catching up on much needed rest because my "professional volunteering" has been catching up with me.  Vivian, happy 19th birtdhay to your baby son. I pray that your middle son and his GF will be okay.  Have a beautiful day everyone!

Wow, woke up tired.  What's up with that??  I think the trip is catching up with me.  Along with haveing to get up in the middle of the night to let an old dog down, then up onto the bed because he can't hold his bladder all night.  I'm not arguing, at least he wants down to go outside!!  Small blessings.

I started scheme training yesterday.  That's where you learn what blocks of what streets go to what carrier.  I'm learning downtown Fort Worth, ZIPs 76102 and 76104.  I got a bid down there that is from 4 am till 12:30 pm, Sundah Thursday off.  Mostly working PO Box line and some window relief.  We'll see.  I really wanted the River Oaks station bid.  They are going to have to repost it because Shared Services posted it wrong.  It's 5:00 am till 2:00 pm (hour lunch) Sunday, Tuesday off.  I really don't like split days off, but you take what you can get.  I have to go in off the clock, and when I complete the training, I get paid time and a half for the training.  I think it's going to be rough.

I have my meeting for the "National Reassessment" today to tell me that there is "No Work Available" for me at the plant.  One of the reasons I took the bid Downtown.  I'm tired of worrying whether I have a job or not.  And the threats have been horrible.  I know the manager Downtown and he is really nice.  I know he'll work with me as far as my injury goes because he knows I'll do the job.  So pray for me at 10:20 this morning that everything goes well!!

I put in for another job last night.  This one was Secretary at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.  Somethings gotta happen.  I have some more to put in for tonight.  Well, better get out of here and get to the shower so I can get to work!  Ya'll have a great day!  Love ya!!

Good Morning Viv and the rest of my TMB Family,

Nice to see you driving this morning Viv, just wish you were up early for other reasons and not nerves.  I so remember one sleepless night after another.  Just please take care of you first.  Dont allow them to take that from you.  Yesterday was a very busy day for us.  We had the crew chief for the moving company here seeing what they will need for packing up.  He was pretty impressed and said he wished more people were as organized as we were.  Thats all Mark and nothing to do with me!  Then the housing lady came by for a preinspection.  We are paying money to have an express checkout done, where they have someone come in and clean.  We had thought that would include the rugs but noooo now we need to either find someone to do it or get a carpet cleaner and do it ourselves on Saturday!  Hoping for the first.  Eric is going back to school today.  He was feeling better last night, and actually ate some Hamburger Helper.  Tonight the Woman of the church are having a Going Away for me.  I am looking forward to it, in some ways and in other ways not.  It is going to be a sad night and I know I am going to do a lot of crying.  This morning I have Bible Study, and then I hope lunch with Rebecca.  Mark has to go in this morning but he will be home for the day around lunch.  Well counting down the days and there are only 13 left.  Prayers for those in need this morning, especially Viv, and her family.  Stay strong Viv and remember we are all here for you.  Alissa and Bryan, hope you guys are feeling better, and that Chris is still healthy.  Gaye continued prayers for recovery.   Gina, Liz just cause I love you guys and miss you bunches.  Have a blessed day.  Love you and appreciate you all so much.  Viv remember I am just a phone call away!  Michelle

Everything turned out ok.  There is still "No Work Available" however today's meeting was just a follow-up to the previous one.  I did, however, give my resume to them so they could see that I was more qualified than most of the people that are currently working in the offices.  One of the people in the meeting was the District Manager;s wife, who is a Labor Relations rep.  I hope she reads and is impressed with my resume.  But you never know.  Her hubby has a position that is open and will hopefully be up for applications soon.

Hey Danni,

I can't even imagine what you and your family must go through when your husband has to leave.  My prayers will be with you and I believe your spouse is in the military and if so, please tell him thank you for serving our country and thank you for being his support.

As far as what I volunteer for my list is so long so I will name a few...United Way, Chamber of Commerce, Keep DeRidder Beautiful, Obesity Action Coalition, Breast Cancer, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, assisting the elderly with absentee ballot voting due to their inablity to get out to the polls (their signature has to notarized and I offer my services for free) etc.  Sometimes events overlap each other but I do make a valid effort if I say I will do something then you can really count on me.
