hehe - you don't have any sick days or personal days you could take?

When my uncle was ready to retire from the Navy, he "hurt" his back and collected 3 years of back sick pay, then retired!

John, I think that is normal. But, don't forget, never burn your bridges. I had a friend that left the Bureau, didn't give any notice. The job she got, did not work out. She wanted to get another Federal job and was shocked when they told her, "You are not rehire able." Plain and simple. All they can say is Will you rehire them yes or no? She burned her bridge....

Smile, it increases your face value.

Yep, I am leaving in good standing. I would not take advantage of anything. I have a few cases I have to wrap up then I was cleared to take next week off by my program director. Its all good!
