how far apart should I be taking my supplements?  I have a 2 chewable mulivitamin , 1 B12 and 3 iron pills to take everyday.  How far do I need to be spreading these out.  I am trying to get on a successful schedule.
Thanks

not 100% sure but I think 2 hours is considered spaced out

here is what I do know
vit c goes with everything and makes it absorb better
iron and calcuim do NOT get taken together
cal absorbs better at night but you still need to spilt it up b/c you can not absorb enough at a time (even normal folks) to get all you need

so something like
6- multi
9- iron
noon multi
3 iron
6 iron and b12

I would add cal to both mutis and at bedtime - making sure it is cal citrate

Thanks!!  I want to get on a routine where I will be successful at remembering to take them.

So right now I am on my school schedule so it is

wake up chewable and b12

first break at 9:30 iron and oj

second break at 1:30 iron and oj

dinner time iron and oj

bedtime chewable

the next thing I might need to add is the calcium.

This is my schedule and it's working pretty well for me as far as a schedule.

Breakfast -
Multi-Vit
Calcium

Lunch -
Calcium
B-12 sub. Methylcobalamin 1000mcg
B-50 Complex
Omega-3 Chewy

Dinner -
Calcium
Multi-Vit
Vit D

8-9pm-ish -
Calcium.....depends on calcium consumption during the day or time involved. I usually don't go to bed until midnight or after so I have plenty of time before this dose and the iron. I can always drop this one if/when needed.

Bedtime -
Iron
Vit. C

Just a question...where is your Calcium? and extra B1?

Iron can be taken with C and if you take it copper, but it needs to be at least 2 hours away from everything else, ESP. calcium. It should be taken at least an hour away from protein, and whole grains.

You should probably also take some extra D.
