So sorry to read this, George. I hope you can take some comfort in knowing that he had a wonderful life with your family and was well-loved! You did the merciful thing, but I know it hurts.

I don't understand why he would have been "bumping" into things....disorientated from the pain maybe?
I hate having to put any animals down...they think that they are part human when they with us..
