How sad George.  It is so hard when we have to put a pet down.  Know that he is in a better place.  Praying for you.

So sorry to read this, George. I hope you can take some comfort in knowing that he had a wonderful life with your family and was well-loved! You did the merciful thing, but I know it hurts.

George & Mary... OMG I'm so sorry to hear about Flyte!  You were there with me when I lost my last one.  You have been with me through everything and I'm here with you... I'm sorry I'm getting to this so late in the day.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Was Flyte one of your big  greyhounds?  OH MY   I'm so sorry that you had to go through this.........
I don't understand why he would have been "bumping" into things....disorientated from the pain maybe?

I hate having to put any animals down...they think that they are part human when they with us..

  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.

Yes, Flyte was my black greyhound.

He was bumping into things because he was losing feeling on his left side.  That is also why he was going in circles.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
