New Protein Bar for Kashi Lovers......

I gotta warn you - they are hard to find!  Wal Mart has the caramel peanut in the 4-pack boxes and oatmeal walnut (my least favorite) in single bars (not all stores).  You can find them with the protein shakes and protein bars.

12 g protein, 6 g fiber.

Warning for those who dump easily - these have 14g sugar (190 cal for bar).

Look for the ROLL! bars - not the regular chewy or crunchy bars.  Not only do these taste good, but they keep hunger at bay a lot longer than most foods.  I bought some of the chocolate peanut from Amazon and they are yummy, too!

do you know the cost of them

The box of 4 and Wal Mart was $4-something (less than $5) so a little over a buck apiece.  Not bad actually for protein bars.  The individual bars were around $1.30 I think so cheaper to buy the 4-pack.

The ones I ordered online from amazon were $19 for 12 so a little bit more.  I was ordering something else so I got free shipping.  Unfortunately, I didn't notice I had accidentally added TWO boxes to my order - (I worked several 15-hr days last week so my brain was fried not to notice an extra $19 on a $40 order!).  Anyway, I was sure hoping the choc peanut were as good as the caramel peanut since I now had 20 of them LOL.  Actually, I wasn't worried - amazon will send you a mailing label to send stuff back so I could always send the unopened box back.  I like them so I will be keeping them - of course had I been doing it on purpose I would have ordered one of the other flavors instead of 2 boxes the same but it is what it is.  Will probably sell a couple to the lady across the hall from me who is doing Weigh****chers and is always looking for high fiber stuff.  I got her hooked on the caramel peanuts ones.

I saw these the other day while waiting on a prescription at Wal-Mart.  I'll have to give them a try.  Thanks.
