happy! happy! joy! joy!

got the mail today and my itinerary for surgery came from the MD's office.....

I've gotten one before but this one is THE one....I'm so excited..... i know that its never a sure thing, till your under the knife but I'm still sooo excited....

In retrospect Dec. 3rd is a long ways off, but when you put all the appointments i have and all the days i need to get things done in, its just right around the corner.

I am wanting to paint my laundry room (of all the rooms in my house), i spend most of my time in there so it needs prettied up....better defrost that paint roller...

WOW...that's only 47 days!!!!  It will be here before you know it....Congrats!!

WOO HOO!!!  I know what you mean about not believing it until it happened - I was the same way.

Then walking into Methodist Hospital I hit my toe on a bump in the concrete at the front door and DID A FACE PLANT right there going into the hospital.  I fell face first and scared the h@ll outta my hubbie and the doorman LOL.  Fortunately my duffle bag broke my fall and I only ended up with some scrapes on my hands.  All I could think of as I went down was "Oh GREAT - now I have screwed up my chance for surgery!!!"  I didn't care if I was hurt - all I could think about was something hurt bad enough that they canceled my RNY.

Thanks for the laugh Sarah, I guess thats why they make us ride in wheelchairs on the way out....that woulda been a disaster.....im glad you werent hurt too bad and got to have your RNY..

I have had the rug pulled twice, once two day before surgery when the nurse was pre-registering me for the hospital the insurance decided i needed a 6 month nutrition class, after doing all that one month before the next scheduled surgery i had a "stroke like event"....and was  told to wait 6 weeks before surgery, that was 6 months ago....all these 6's are killing me...good thing im not superstitious...Its my time this time.....

thanks for sharing the  joy with us - now go have fun painting but pay attention to how u do things b/c a year from now u will go to paint another room n be AMAZED at the difference in what u can do
