Good Morning Danni and the rest of my TMB Family,

You are up bright and early this morning Danni.  I am glad it is finally Friday.  Normally weeks that are short a day go by fast but this one has been dragging but guess that is because I am excited.  Finished my kitchen cabinets yesterday, so the kitchen is all done.  Also did my night stand, and my bookshelf and got rid of lots.  We will be very busy this weekend getting stuff done around here.  Mark is going to work on the yard.  Housing comes for a preinspection on Monday afternoon.   Today if all goes well I am having coffee with a friend early, and then with another friend after that.  Need to get my visiting time in while I can.  Rebecca should be coming over later this afternoon and picking up another couple of boxes I have packed for her to take.  Glad to know it is going to someone who needs it.  I need to make Chili this morning for Mark to take to work with him.  They are having a going away for someone in his office.  I sure hope someone plans one for him.  At least acknowledge all his hard work.  Ok guess that is all for now.  Need more coffee.  Prayers this morning for all in need especially for Viv, her son and his gf, and for Gaye as she continues to recover.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.   Michelle

Good morning! How is everyone? Michelle I hope everything goes smoothly over the next few days. You have had to move a few times before you move! I guess it def makes you appreciate when you land somewhere to stay for a while! Have you gotten housing in DE? Is it base housing or are you going to try to buy a house? I know when my parents moved to PA they got a condo for 6 months while they looked for a house so they'd know where to buy.
Fun weekend plans-well I'm not sure everything will be fun BUT today in 4 hours I get my stiches out-woo hoo. Hopefully that means I can return the scooter tonight in Bedford and we can eat out in the HEB area. Saturday if anyone is near Watauga please come by the library and see me- I am working a booth at their health and community fair from 10-4. You can get your fortune in Braille!
Chris wants to watch Marley and Me on pay per view this weekend- I told him Sat night would be ideal or Sunday afternoon. We don't have any plans Sunday. Brunch at Joe T's again anyone? Or Cracker Barrel? I haven't been to either one in a while.
We had a great trip yesterday all day for our agency end of the year celebration. We have all worked hard with little to no raises for a while now, so it was great to have a day of fun and team building time. We ended up in Glen Rose at Dinosaur Valley but all the tracks were under water due to the recent rain, Commanche Peak to see how engery is made, The Nut House in Granbury for lunch-that was some good food, and some walking around the square. I went into a chocolate place and found Mo's bacon chocolate bar and I HAD to get a small one. We saw it featured on Food Network so I was curious. We haven't tried it yet. I do love chocolate and bacon....

Gaye- I am keeping you in daily prayers for a quick recovery-Gina any word? Has your week been better than last I hope? Tracey-how are the wedding plans going? Dana- prayers continue for you to stay healthy and get things squared away before your surgery. Kathy- I'm working from home today so I'll try to get the iphone store's schedule during lunch-they have it online just been too busy to look. Danni- what fun stuff do you have going this weekend? Hope the weather is good there.

October-Dec is my fav time of year. I love the weather and the celebrations. I hope everyone has a fantastic day today!!!

Funny you should ask about housing..Mark is looking at listings as I type to see what is available in the area.  I have a funny feeling though we will live on base at least for a year while we scope out the area.  Not certain I want to buy a house but we will.  I kind of leave that stuff up to Mark as he knows the finances better then me.  Sounds like you have fun yesterday on your year end trip.  Have a great day!

We still haven't located a place.....  I think we may just find a pasture somewhere and have everyone bring a lawn chair! lol I have everything pretty well lined up except for location. "location location location!"  hehe The date will be contingent on the place....  so someday we will announce the big celebration....  maybe someday soon! There are about three other places that we are going to check out- maybe one of them will be perfect!

All I can say is Thank God I made it to Friday and I am still on this side of the dirt...

With the economy tanking work took on a whole new aspect this month and I do not like it.  My customers are suffering which breaks my heart.  I spent an unscheduled hour and a half on the road yesterday which made my whole day run late.  Most of our customers are small contractors and when they get squeezed I really feel for them.

Emotions in the office are a litte raw, my coworkers Mom is in Kansas and had a valve replacement this week.  Prayers for her and her kiddos are appreciated.  There are 4 kids and they are all in Texas.  They are taking turns going to Kansas to help with Mom who at best not a cooperative patient.  They think all will be OK, if Mom decides she can be well.  Many parralells to what I went through with my Mom and I feel for them.

I am so looking forward to this weekend.  We are decorating and making final plans for the Halloween party.  The weather looks like it may cooperate so, GAME ON.  Wish there were more peeps coming, it is going to end up being a real blast.

I'm with you Que... I am so glad I made it to Friday. I am training a new Accounting Technician. It takes a good 2 yrs to be able to say you are trained. So, my load has not gotten any lighter but, heavier. It is a male. Former Marine. He seems like a really nice guy with a great personality. Let's hope the females in the department don't break him down. Women can be so mean and spiteful. I know I can. I would just love to work in a place where we all get along. I am not gonna go any further on it... But, we know how women can be. I heard something on tv from a spiritual advizer. He said "When we take things personal, we are saying that we are so important that we think it is about us" WOW.. I never looked at it like that. I always thought of it as a weakness. I'm gonna try not to take things so personal as much. It is hard. It is my personality. Men, can do this. They take it and walk away. We women, take it, we cry, we get our feelings hurt, we hold onto it, we can't let it go etc... I'm gonna add this to my list of things to work on..

I think its easier to be friends with a man than a women, at least in the office.  Maybe he'll be your new buddy and you can ignore those women easier.

I agree completely!  My supervisors are women - it's baaaadd. My sales guys are great and they appreciate me.  I will always rather work in a male dominated office!
