OT: ENT in Katy area
Lynne,
Sorry, I got your email but after the death of the girls' high school coach, we have all been turned upside down and backwards and now the tennis parents were asked to feed a few hundred people so we're scrambling to get donations from places along with us parents to feed the masses! Sheww....huge undertaking but we just have to get it right and do Coach's family proud. We are all struggling with it, adults as much as the kiddos so sorry for the delay.
There are two very good ones here in Katy. Blake Anderson is who I used to see but he recently moved to the Austin area, but, he was part of a big group so there are still two other docs within the clinic. The two others here are Drs. Joel Anthis and Manish Wani. Both are phenominal docs. I have had to see both and when we need to go back in there, I will see whoever is available. They have two offices in Katy. One is off of Fry there at those offices within Christus St. Catherine Hospital and the other location in Katy is that medical building just to the west of Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. Let me know which location you want numbers for and I'll send them your way.

Lynne...they haven't officially "ruled it" suicide but that is the assumption at least as far as I know....very sad...I know of him also just from around town...I am sorry for his family and kids....and all the ones he coached.....
Scott Kaiser, former Katy Times sportswriter and current Katy High School tennis coach and history teacher, was found dead in his car late Monday.
Kaiser was found in his 2000 silver Chevy Malibu in the parking lot of Ikon Bank near the intersection of South Barker Cypress and I-10 East.
It did not appear that there were signs of foul play.
On Tuesday afternoon, Harris County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Deputy R.S. Carrizal confirmed that a firearm had been found and recovered from Kaiser’s car.
The 49-year-old Wisconsin native had been a well-known face in the Katy area for more than two decades, both as an educator and a journalist.
He covered for Houston Aeroes hockey and high school sports for the Houston Chronicle, and later local sports for The Katy Sun before being hired as Morton Ranch’s first-ever tennis coach in 2004.
Kaiser taught journalism at Morton Ranch as well for three years before returning to journalism as assistant sports editor of The Katy Times.
Kaiser worked at The Times from October 2007 to August 2009 and won the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Sportswriter of the Year Award last spring.
In August, Kaiser returned to the academic field as the head tennis coach and a U.S. history teacher at Katy High School.
Kaiser was last seen by his wife at their Green Trails home early Saturday morning. When his wife returned home Saturday night, Kaiser was not at home but had left his cell phone behind.
His wife filed a missing persons’ report Sunday morning with the Harris County Pct. 5 Constable's Office.

Thanks July...to say it's been a living hell for these kids this week is just the tip of the iceberg. All those kids are very short fused/tempered. My middle daughter who is very happy-go-lucky, honor student, etc. almost darn near got into a fight this week along with a couple other boys on the team. Not with each other, but with some punk idiots outside where they have been meeting the past couple days who were trash talking the coach. Emotions are running off the charts high and they just wanted to defend the guy they know and love dearly. We know the guy has been having some horrible migraine headaches lately so maybe something with medications. Only a guess (as there are a ton of those out there) but the guy we all knew just wouldn't even have that thought in his head. Something absolutely catastrophic happened for him to do that. We will work through it with some patience. A couple of the kids can't even get back on the court just yet. My two have, but with tears rolling down their faces. When I have had to go pick them up, heck, I have tears rolling down MY face just parking there looking down the sidewalk to the spot they all gather it and can just see him standing there as usual. Crazy, I know...
