Passive/Agressive hmmmm, is it contagious.  I feel you sister.  Yesterday was a bad, bad day for me.  The ANXIETY was is full force with it, I hope today is better.  Starting is out with an UNREASONABLE meeting that I'm not looking forward to, think keeping my thoughts to myself is BETTER.

tim went back to work today after 2 weeks on leave - so up at 4:20 with him - have already had a shake, working on the end of my first litter of water, did my E time, to do and food plan written out and lunch packed for K and fruit and veggies cut up for me
I am working on getting back tward the body for life for woman thing - it works for me and while Tim is gone I must be very structured if I want to stay functioning and in good shape mentally - how times have changed - used to be I wanted to get in better shape physically now I KNOW that the things I do to keep myself in better shapy metally will help with the physical

going to put Rach in the pack to walk K to school - he likes to be able to hold my hand and that is the only way I can figure out how to make that work - to many ups and downs and curves to push one handed   - plus I figure that is an extra 25 pounds I am carrying while I walk twice a day will be good for me

other than that I have a list of phone calls to make- need to add calling new pcm about refills on my welburtrin - he tryed to change me to the 3 times a day one and after some research Tim went hell NO you are not changing to that right now - maybe 6 months after I get home if all is going well - can't blame him for not wanting me any moodyer than I am with him leaving

things to do around here and
plan to ride with the neighbor - she just got a new bike - up to the PX and pick up some meds that are at the refil pharmacy -

wrote out a schedule of sorts to make sure I get things done in the morning AND get my tmb and fb time

5 terrific changes - I enjoy life
I walk places and enjoy it
can shop easyer (shut up about the 45 pairs of jeans - I shoudl have known better than to shop on my cycle and bloated LOL)
I don't embarras my fam with my size - now it is all my mouth LOL
life is just better b/c we don't have to stop and wait for me to catch my breath, figure out how to fit , or if I can - we just go on with it

hope everyone has a great day - take your vits, drink your water, get your protien and MOVE YOUR BODY - you have been blessed with this great tool  - USE IT WELL

peace

1.  I have much more energy and am therefore a better mom to my kids, ages 5 and 7.  I am a single mom so this is especially important to me.

2.  I can walk upstairs without stopping halfway to rest (a biggie since my bedroom is on the second floor).  I can even run up the stairs.

3.  I am not paranoid anymore that people are staring at me and talking about me because I am the biggest person in the room.

4.  I am thrilled that I can shop anywhere now, not just the plus-sized stores.

5.  I am my daughter's cheerleader coach and love it.  I would have NEVER done this if I were still overweight.

Good morning!  Lots of paperwork to do at work today...as usual.

5 ways I've changed since WLS:
1. much more energy to do things than I had before WLS
2. don't embarrass my child with hugeness
3. more confident because I know I look better than before
4. able to wear much more in-style clothes
5. better health

Prayers for Gaye, Teena, Vivian's son and gf and all others who need them.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

5 ways I have changed:

1) I am healthier and can get around better!
2) I can wear awesome clothes!
3) I am more relaxed at work and have more self confidence without faking it!
4) I can fit anywhere, even a closed MRI machine!
5) I no longer fear Captain Ahab harpooning me from behind!! HeeHee!!

5 Terrific Ways I've Changed Since WLS:

1.  I can walk anywhere and stand up for as long as I need to without any pain.  Before surgery, I could only walk/stand for about 3 minutes without excrutiating back pain, which SOOOOOO limited what I could do and where I could go.

2.  Can fit in airplane seats with ROOM TO SPARE !!

3.  I can RUN now for exercise.  Long distances.  This from the girl who could barely stand/walk.

4.  My blood pressure went from borderline high to low and my heart rate went down dramatically.

5.  I don't feel humiliated and self conscious all the time.  No special arrangements have to be made for me, like having to sit at a table instead of a booth at restaurants, etc.

Am back home from Texas and am already missing my baby doll.  )-:    He will be here in 11 days, though.  (-:

Having a hard time getting started at work this morning.  Am going to try to be productive now.  I have a lot of things I've been putting off because I don't really want to do them...am going to try to get some of them out of the way today.

Hope all of you have a great day -

Lori

Good morning Train Riders!  Posting quickly as I'm already knee deep in work stuff.  I had a fantastic weekend, very busy Saturday hanging out with MIL.  Church, feeding the geese and home Bible study on Sunday, then nothing but being lazy yesterday.  I sat around doing cross stitch and watching an NCIS marathon yesterday, then went to coffee with some ladies from church in the evening.  A perfect weekend if I do say so myself.

Lets see, 5 ways I've changed since I had WLS...
1 - I can walk!
2 - Exercising fairly regularly (25 min on the Elliptical today)
3 - Sat on the floor for Bible study
4 - Not eating carbs all day long
5 - Spending more time caring for myself

I hope everyone has a fantastic day!  I'll put up a separate post, but remember tomorrow is our Collin Cty Support Group meeting.  We'll be discussing Holiday Eating and Stress in preparation for another holiday season.
