Shopping WOW Yesterday

I have a wedding to attend this coming weekend for my brother-in-law and I've been trying to figure out what the heck to wear... So, I hit a few stores this weekend and tried on clothes. For grins and giggles, decided to run into Macy's - not my normal store, I might add. However, I was plesantly surprised when I started trying dresses on and had to go down a full size to a 12!!!! I haven't seen that since high school - many, many years ago!!! Actually, not quite true - I would have cried if I'd been a 12 then, but I certainly haven't seen this size in 20+ years....

My hubby was laughing as I continued to come out and model for him and the woman in the room beside me must have thought I lost my mind because I just kept saying, "..a 12, I can't believe it's a 12!!!..." I tried on 10 or so dresses (after going back for smaller sizes first) and every one of them fit like a dream!

I loved your story -- that must have been so exciting!! I love those triumphant dressing-room moments. I recently got into 12s myself and thought I had died and gone to heaven. If I never reach size 10, that is OK with me ... 12s are like achieving The Impossible Dream. Congratulations!
