Monday WLS Express

It's Monday. Nuff said.
Had to come to work to get some rest. I must get my house back in order from being in and out all weekend. Looks like a tornado hit it.
We are two weeks and counting till Emm's confirmation. We met up at church Saturday morning to work on THEIR banner, and Emm and I were the only ones aside from Pastor. So we have a lot of work to do on it. Will go over Tuesday night and do what we can and one of the boys' Mom said they will come. Apperently school sports and band take precidence over church activities. Not in my day. Guess I am old.
I am getting excited about it. We have Emm's dress and sweater for it and SHOES. Love the shoes but they are too big for me. dern it. Now it's a matter of figuring out exactly how many are coming - looks like 60. Then I still have to make potato salad and pintos that weekend. Also all the other details like tea and all that stuff. Decorating. OY! I've been waiting for this day for two years and I want it to be very special for her.
Work is work. Busy as usual but I take it as being needed. Sure wi**** was a holiday but no such luck.
Special prayers for our Gaye and Lynnettes' hubby. Also for all others hurting in any way. Blessings to the rest. Stay safe and dry and warm.

Hope all is well with everybody. I am at work...we didn't get a holiday. Today will still be a good day. Played with some good friends on Sat. Then went costume shopping with my daughter. She is crazy!!!! Not sure who she got that from....
