Monday WLS Express
I had 2 pounds of mushrooms, use a few in breakfast and made 16 half pints - they are only about half now they are cooked - all but one has sealed already
if you don't want to can them you can dry them - soak in ice water, dry and slice - put in dehydrator or on cookie racks in oven on low with door open till dry - they will be slighly flexable
I love mushrooms!! this is the first time I have canned them - I think last time I dryed them I didn't have the pressure canner and they are way to low acid to risk jus****er bathing them
mushrooms and potatoes don't freeze well - oh and if you go to use them dryed soak them first THEN add to whatever
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
Good Morning OH Family!
Let's see...........word that starts with the letter "M"? How about muddy? It's raining again this morning. I'm suppose to meet my BFF Rita in McKinney to thrift store shop and spend the day.We have been friends for 23 years and do not get to spend enough time together. Some of yall met her at my BD party. Rick's foot is still not doing well. He goes back to the Dr this morning. Will find out if they are going to put him in the hospital and go back in and clean out the infection. I kept Layla last night so Summer could get some rest. She still has phenomena. My weight is still going down, don't really know why. I've just not had much of an appetite lately. I'm down to 142 this morning.I'm not too low, but don't like the way my face looks when I get below 150,too skinny. lol never thought I would be have that concern. Well better get a few things done this morning. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I love Fall, but getting a little tired of the rain. Prayers for healing for our Gaye and Allisa.
Your loved!

Very happy Gaye got out of the hospital. Prayers do work. But, like Gina said We will continue to keep her in ours.
Support group was great yesterday. Great turn out. Thanks Tawnya for all you do. You help more people than you realize.
The bonus after the support group was that I found my Toto dog I have been looking everywhere for. He is precious. Thanks Corbin and Gina for walking around the mall 10 times helping me look for him.
Hugs to you all
Get out there and make this a great day.
Smile, it increases your face value.
Good morning everyone,
I am determined to get my OH posting done this week. I get started on the job searching and other stuff and by the time I get over here, it's afternoon and I don't post. I miss it so here I am. I got a call from Josh Saturday and was so excited. Matt and I had gone to the Fair but had sat down to watch a show. Otherwise I might not have felt the phone vibrate. I didn't recognize the number but realized it was an IL area code so went ahead and answered. I would have felt horrible if I hadn't. Josh talked for quite a bit before he said someone else was waiting to use the phone. It was so nice just to hear his voice.
Saying prayers for all of you. Have a great week.

Jodi and Kathy, stay dry and healthy please! I hope you have a blast playing in the rain.
Gina, take care of Gaye and give her a gentle hug from me.
Gotta run, phone ringing and customers waiting.
