I'm trying to think of a M word for Monday, I don't want to do marvelous because we already have Terrific Tuesday and Thankful Thursday. Mad Monday? Mad as in crazy not angry. Or Manic Monday? That's a good song!

I am hoping and praying that we don't get alot of rain this week, mainly because the knee walker and I don't do well in the rain. I  will leave work early to get Chris and take him to the dentist so that's more trips in and out of the car with the scooter-not so much fun. I am walking more though on my foot so that's good. Just have to make it to Friday. Poor Chris has to have a tooth pulled today to make room for an adult tooth that is coming in crooked. They hope it will straighten up but if not he'll have to go to braces in 6 months or so despite the face he has alot of baby teeth still.

We had a great time at Tawyna's support group-she's so informative and has great things to say. Wish I could have gotten there earlier to visit but we were running errands. We went to Sears after and they had clothing 85 percent off! We didn't really stop much-Bryan got a few shirts and a  tie and I got a Christmas shirt. I wasn't feeling 100 percent either- I have a cold. Its just a cold-no fever or anything flu like. I feel better today.

Michelle-hope the rain stops soon so you can walk but look at it as an opportunity to stay in and organize and pack. lol.
Liz-hope you got back safely!
Tom and Que-so looking forward to the party. Let us know what else you need and we can bring it over.
Karla-hope this week is ARD-less or at least fewer ARD's. Keller ISD just went to a new online or computer program for the IEP and it is throwing them for a loop. Fort Worth already used it when we were there. It was crazy at Chris's ARD.
Danni-hope you get some good family time in this week- anymore field trips planned?
Dana-hope you have a productive week getting ready for your time off for surgery.
Vicki- praying for your son and DIL.

Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY TODAY!!!

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

Funny you said something about walking, because when I got up this morning the first thign I did was look outside to see the weather and OF COURSE it is still raining.  Now they are saying two more days of it!  Uggg I love the rain but not this much of it.  Well maybe it will clear up later enough so I can get a good walk in.  My house is all off today.  Not to much on the agenda.  Eric is having a really hard time with this move.  It has never bothered him before but this time he is leaving a couple of good friends and it is really bothering him.  When we left church yesterday he was crying.  His best friend Christian is having a really hard time at home and at school and Eric is so worried about it, and he has not said this but I think he is concerned it has something to do with us leaving.  His friend told him yesterday that Eric was the only friend he had.  Please keep Eric in prayer.  He needs them right now.  I am going to spend some of the day packing up some stuff I dont want to movers to take and getting them in our safe zone which is were all the stuff we will be taking with us will be.  Its hard to believe it is only 21 days away.  Time is flying by.  As I was sitting in choir rehursal last night I realized just how much God has truely blessed me since I have lived in TX.  I guess I have always known that but last night it really hit me hard, and I cried all the way home.  Ok on to better things.  Alissa I sure hope Friday gets here soon for you.  Is the doc saying after the stiches out it will be easier for you to walk?  I cant imagine trying to get around on a scooter.  Then again I have no sence of balance so I would be falling over left and right I am sure.  Hope Chris makes out ok at the Dentist.  Eric had to have two teeth pulled for the same reason.  Liz, hope today is a good day for you, and that you are working out whatever it is that is bugging you.  You are in my prayers every day.  Where is our cheerleader?  Have not seen her in a few days.  Hope all is well Susan.  Does anyone know how Gayes surgery went on Friday?  Hopfully she is doing better and not in so much pain.  Que and Tom, sure wish we were going to get to go to the Halloween party but alas we will be packing up the van getting ready to head out.  I am really happy to hear you guys are doing well.  I think about you every day!  Ok..time to get my coffee and watch a little news.  Prayers for all that need them and even if you dont.  Have a blessed day. Love you guys.  Michelle

MICHELLE-thanks for asking about our GAYE. Her back surgery went "well". The doctor ended up not having to take bone ffrom the hip, after all, and the only incision is in the FRONT of GAYE's neck, where they worked their thru to the back-amazing what they can do. When I went to the hospital last night she was pretty uncomfortable, but was in good spirits, and had just been cleared to go HOME.She has to wear her neck brace at least until she sees her doc on the 22nd, and cannot work for 3 MONTHS, so she's pretty depressed. Please do not take her off your prayer list just yet.

Thanks for asking Michelle. He said some people are in pain for 8 to 12 weeks. I will be glad when the stiches come out so I can walk again. The knee walker isn't bad but I have almost fallen a few times. I am klutzy however. That is why I refused crutches and went with the walker. Hope you get your walk in!

Good morning.  Boy was this weekend short!  It would be nice to have a 3 day weekend, but no such luck here.  School kids get a holiday but teachers have to be at inservice.  I have a meeting about TAKS most of the morning.  I need to work on folders all afternoon.

Alissa...I do have ARD meetings Thursday, but I think just 3 or 4.  I remember when we first got our computer program sp.ed. manager...you had to "load" all of a kids info on to start so it took way longer, plus learn the program.  I rarely go into an ARD meeting w/o most of it ready so all I have to do is make some changes and add a little info.  I learned to print a schedule/mod page and the signature page in case computers are down or servers not working.

Prayers for Gaye and all who need them...Teena too!

Have a great foggy wet warm Monday.

Karla

good morning TMB - not a whole lot planned here today - going to can some mushrooms I got on sale and clean out cars oh and we have to clean off the computer desk so we can put the computer back on it LOL

had a good day yesterday - long but nice - teen kept the little kids with our neighbor for most of the day so we could run errands

I have rasins and a few other dry fruits soaking in rum to make rum bread pudding for Tim - of course I have to figure out where I stashed the recipe but I will LOL - made a list of things he would like to eat over the next week or two before he leaves - some baking and a lot of easyish meals that are family mainstays- need to see if I have any polish saug left in the freezer

Tim got the boys 3 new WII games yesterday and they all played them for a while  Tim and I went to bed and I sent the boys to bed when I got up with Rach at 1 something this morning - K woke up at 7 with us and was told to go back to bed - NOT dealing with a crabby sleep deprived 7yo today

Rachels hair is getting long enough to curl so we got her conditioner and detangler and boy is she jazzed over them - such a vain little girl but so sweet

hope everyone has a great day - we are all off so not real up and running yet oh we have to do  hair cuts today too

peace

Canned mushrooms?  Please tell me how.  I bought some on sale, too.  I froze them but when  defrosted I only got a soggy mess.
