WLS Sunday Express
Good Morning my TMB Family,
I hope everyone had a great Saturday. We took Eric and a friend out to dinner at Olive Garden, and then to the movies (Cloudy with a chance of Meetballs) for his birthday. He seemed to have a good time. Not to much going on today. Sunday School and Church and then choir tonight. Mark is still trying to get his paper written so he can start doing the stuff he needs to do around here before the movers get here. He loves to procrastinate, and always manages to find something else to do on the computer besides writing his paper. I woke up this morning with a massive headache, but I am hoping it is just sinuses. I took a couple of extra strength Tylenol along with all my vitamins and hope that will help. I sure can not afford to get sick now. Just 22 more days till we are on the road. Time should fly by now. Prayers this morning for all in need. Special ones for Vivian and her son and his GF. Addiction of any kind is not fun to deal with but Oxicotins is particularly hard, believe me I know. Went through it with my son. Liz, I know you are lurking so just know that I love ya! Have a blessed day everyone. Love you guys. Michelle
I hope yall are all having a great weekend. Mine is going so-so. I have had better and I for sure have had worse. I'm listening to Joel Osteen and he says "We all havea a purpose" I always wonder what my purpose is?? I would love to fulfill my purpose here on earth. What is it? To be a good mother, be a good friend, be a good daughter?
I hope I come close to what ever needs me to be.
Today is support group at 3:00. I'm most excited about that.. I missed yesterday at R&S. I slept too late and missed it. :(
Tomorrow is Six Flags. Yippee.... I am really looking forward to that.
Thanks for being my friends. Thanks for listening. Thanks for being you.
Smile, it increases your face value.
Next weekend I am supposed to go to Dallas to a party thrown by my high school classmates- a sort of mini-reunion (we had our 25th in June). It should be lots of fun.
And in 2 weeks an old friend from college is coming to visit me. He's recently divorced and I've always loved him. We'll see what happens.
Life is great!!

Good morning everyone,
This is turning into a great weekend. Matt suggested yesterday morning that we go to the Fair. We figured with the cloudy so-so weather, it wouldn't be too crowded. Well, it was pretty crowded but we still had a great time just being there together. I hadn't been in years. I even let Matt try the fried butter. It wasn't as bad as it sounds. More like bisquit dough fried with bits of butter throughout. It was really pretty good. It was the fried Snickers I shouldn't have let him have. I didn't even try that one. UGH. While we were there, my phone rang. I didn't recognize the number but suddenly realized it was an IL area code. It was my boy, Josh. He had earned his first phone call home. I was surprised because I had been told it would be weeks before I would hear from him. He sounded pretty good but I could tell he was homesick which made me miss him more. Josh isn't much of a talker but he filled the conversation very well. I am a very proud Momma.
Saying prayers for all of you. Have a great day.
Annette,
I am so glad you heard from Josh. I know it is a huge surprise when they call you and you dont expect it. Tim did that with me when he was Boot Camp. Are you and Matt going to be able to go to his graduation? Where will it be? You should be very proud of your boy. I know I stand proud when I talk about my Tim being an X-Marine. Sounds like you and Matt have moved right into a happily married couple. I am so happy for you both! Hugs. Have a great Sunday. Michelle
We went and walked through twelve homes in the Oak Cliff area. Some were gorgeous, some had way too much stuff going on, one was a hideous (IMO) modern sterile home. There were a couple that I would love to move into (or try to replicate if I had the money). One even had a flat panel TV mounted directly above a claw foot tub so you could soak and watch TV (with a remote control to boot, cause you know that 4 -5 foot reach is just too much). After the home tour we headed back to Plano and went to Border's to try to find a book, it's not carried in the store so I had to order it on line. Then to Market Street to pick up dinner and back to the in-laws house. Jeff came down and we hung out, ate dinner and watched a John Wayne movie. Over all it was a fantastic day, wore me out with all the walking, but it was lots of fun.
Today we've got church, lunch out with the family, then hopefully off to the park to feed the ducks. We've got our second bible study tonight and I'm looking forward to that. I'm off work tomorrow, but am going to log in to see what the benefit packages are like and start trying to figure out what to sign up for.
Hope everyone has a great day!
