Chicken and Sausage Gumbo

must hide this post - or I will be making gumbo for sure LOL if Tim sees it

had to laugh at the boiled egg thing - I remember eating "soup" with boiled eggs in it as a little kid at momma Ella's (my greatgrandmama in baton rouge) but my mom said I was imigining it and thinking of good turkey gravey with boiled eggs floated in it - I should call her and tell here

dirty rice sounds good too -agg I do not need to start with the cajun cooking at the moment!! it is all so good and so not wls friendly - at least the stuff I like

I use frozen chopped okra in strews and stuff and it doesn't slime like fresh  - and doesn't spoil if I don't use it all up either
