Need hugs and prayers
It's not very often that I ask for hugs and prayers but man I sure could use some tonight. As most of you know my mother is moving from Arkansas to an assisted living facility in Conroe in 2 weeks. I got a call this morning from my sister telling me that Mom's house flooded last night. There is 3-4 inches of water in her downstairs gameroom. She recently replaced all the carpet down there cuz it flooded a few months back. She's lived there 17 years and has now had 2 floods in 6 months. I bet that the people who are scheduled to buy her house back out. I certainly wouldn't buy a house that's had 2 major floods in recent history. Apparently it was from the storms that went through last night.
Then this evening I got a call from my daughter, Hailey, crying hysterically saying that she and "Mr Wonderful" had been T-boned by another car. The other lady ran into them and pushed her car up onto a median. Both her and her boyfriend ended up going to the hopital to get checked out. She has a strained back and he has a severely bruised collarbone. Both are generally shook up and sore. It certainly could of been worse and I'm thankful that they are both OK.
So I ended up taking tomorrow off work so I can drive to Arkansas a day early to try and rescue my Mom and sister. Clay will see me off in the morning and drive to Denton to try and get Hailey a rental car and see what needs to be done with her car. Anyway, please keep all of us in your prayers. It will be a long 8 hour drive by myself tomorrow and once I get there I'll have no internet access. I will have my cell so please text me throughout the week to help keep me sane. Love to all.

Hugs and prayers both for you Steph. I know that dealing with either thing by itself would be a strain, but both together are the pits! I guess I thought you were already in Arkansas. Sorry you have to drive up by yourself. I know it's hard doing an estate sale and a wet one will be harder. Take care of yourself. Maybe the week will fly by for you.
Love ya!

Definitely be careful driving. Don't forget though....take care of YOURSELF while you are there. Take your vitamins every day!!! Sarah came back positive today for "Type A" flu so now I'm dealing with THAT! UGH. Just hoping and praying it doesn't go through my household! You just don't want your resistence down.
Glad to hear Hailey and her bo were not seriously hurt. The car can definitely be replaced! I hope the both of them get back to 100% quickly.
Take care!!!
I'm sorry Steph that you have to deal with this. Hope the cleanup goes quickly and your Mother's house sells. Thank God Haily and Mr. Wonderful aren't hurt badly.
Keeping you in my thought and prayers.
Love you!
