Prayers needed please
First one - I recvd a call from a friend out of town who's son fell during PE. His knee was dislocated. After going to the ortho, it appears his ACL is torn, causing the knee cap to pop out of place. As he is only 9 and still growing, if reconstruction surgery was to happen now, he would continually need surgery throughout life. However, if he mobilizes the knee and does therapy and no sports for a few years, he can have one reconstructive surgery at 15! So prayers for him to be strong to not be tempted to be to active, not to walk on that leg, understanding and, patience!!
Second one - recvd another call from a friend for prayer for a friend of hers whose son fell out of the crib and hit his head. After a day he started having seizures. They did a CT scan and there is a possible skull fracture. Mom is freaking out. So prayers to her and the family please......
Thanks again for all your prayers and support...........

btw, on the crib thing, I hope the docs at the hospital are not being too hard on the mom for what happened, but they may be trying to make sure this was not a child neglect or abuse situation of some kind .. You know how those laws and CPS work nowadays .. Also, she might want to talk to a products liability lawyer in her area after her child is healed up ... There have been a lot of class action and other suits lately over unsafe cribs that have too much of a gap between the "bars" and such dangerous design defects, allowing infants to slip out and fall ..
Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "
HW/461 LW/251 GW/189 CW/274 (yep, a DS semi-failure - it happens :-( )
And more prayers for the mom of the infant who fell out of his crib, I sincerely hope that he will be OK and I hope that she doesn't beat herself up too badly. Accidents do happen.
And a BIG HUG to you too!!! Thanks for all you do!
