Ready Set Go!!!

1 day and 39 hours left.

I am back home and all is set to go for surgery on Friday.

I have to be at the hospital at 9:00 am for my 11:00 am surgery.

I talked to Dr. Provost's Nutritionist, Physician's Assistant, Insurance Coordinator, Bariatric Nurse Coordinator, and then Dr. Provost himself.

I am hella tired now.

Less talking more cowbell.

LMAO.

Got lots of Bariatric Advantage samples and my handy dandy two packs of antibacterial soap I am suppose to use on my abdomen the night before and the morning of surgery.

YAY for cleanliness says the girl with OCD!

I am also not suppose to wear lotion or oil at the hospital the morning of my surgery.

Don't these people know I am Black and get ashy after I take a shower?

They want me laying on the bed knocked out looking like willy foo foo.

LMAO.

I told Skyler at Dr. Provost's office that and she laughed at me and said that I should just take the lotion with me and put it on later and this is not a beauty pagent.

Yeah right!

Have you ever seen a person with ashy legs before?

She is right It is not a beauty pagent.

Me being ashy in public is a damn fashion emergency.

LMAO.

Per Dr. Provost I should be home by Sunday night.

I am fine with that as I hate hospitals as they are a cesspool of germs and disease.

He also said that my common channel will be 90.

I had blood work drawn at the hospital and thanks to me sending my information ahead of time to the hospital I was only there 15 min.

Well tomorrow is my clear liquid day and believe it or not I am more excited than I ever thought I would be.

It just means that I am all that much closer.

you make me laugh with the ashy statement but i can relate, they dont want me to wear powder, my question to them is,  how is my fat supposed to slide the 2 hours before surgery and the 2 hours of  driving before that, oh gosh i hope i dont start smelling like dead fish....ugh 

i am so inspired by your enthusiasm, i cant wait to hear all about your postop life, u are a ray of sunshine spotted with a dash of sass...lol

I am still freaking out over not being able to be all lotioned down and soft before surgery.

I am not sure why my legs or my arms would matter.

Maybe it is because when they are moving me from bed to bed if I had lotion or baby oil on I would be to slippery and they would drop my ass on the floor.

I would pay money to see that.

LMAO.

I will abide by the rules, but as soon as I wake up my mom will be on lotion duty.

That is what mommies are for.

I have already told her.

She said that she does that for me anyway whenever I have surgery and am doped up on drugs.

I never knew that.

Makes me want to tear up.

I feel violated.

I can't wait to get back home and be on the losing side and start sharing my hospital and surgery experience and post op life.

I am so ready.

I can't wait til it is your time.

Your surgery will be here before you know it and you will be on the losers bench with all of the others!

don't worry about being ashy~I'm sure dr and nurses have seen alot worse.  I have heard that they like people to clean out their belly buttons before surgery.  LOL~no telling what you could find in a belly button.

Girl I'm the ashy Mexican you've ever met. I'm so happy your day it about 24 hours away. This is your 2nd. chance in life you know like a re-birth. Take lots of pictures before sugary and don't forget your ashy legs and I'll do the same so we can laugh at our legs together.  God has a major plan for us and were going to be healthy to work and enjoy his plan for us. I'll be praying for you......

I am going to my mom's tonight to take lots of pictures and to do my measurements.
