Thankful Thursday WLS express
Howdy! Just a quick post because I'm running late. I just didn't want to get up! I love working from home on Wednesdays.
The foot doc said I didn't do anything major when I hurt my foot 2 days ago. He said its all looking good. I can't wait to get off the knee walker- I'm sooooo tired of it. Today is my first day to drive to work and back. I drove to the foot doc yesterday. Hopefully I'll do okay.
I'm so thankful for my wonderful family. Christopher is so smart and witty. Bryan is so incredibly supportive and loving. My parents/sisters-we are all very close. We email or talk daily. Also, I'm thankful for this family here- you all are great. That's what I'm thankful for today!

I am thankful to have two wonderful sons, a job that I love, the love of my life and that I believe in giving back to my community. Take care of yourself Alissa and don't move too quickly.

Good MOrning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,
I could have sworn today was Friday. Oh well one more day. Today is my babies 13th birthday. It seems like only yesterday we were debateing on weather or not to take him in as a foster child. I am thankful today that we did. He truly is our gift from God and I thank God for him every day even when we get the teenage attitude. Anyway today will be taken up wrapping gifts and making a birthday cake. He wants hamburger helper for dinner, so will make that for him and his dad and I will have a salad. Not sure but I think Rebecca and the kids will come over for cake tonight. We are really going to celebrate on Saturday by taking Eric and his friend out to dinner anda movie. He wants to go to Olive Garden for Lasagna. Anyway looking forward to a day at home to get the house clean. Seems like I have been on the run all week. Wish my scale showed I had been on the run. Oh well I am happy. Oh things I am thankful for: Mark, Eric, Tim and Dan, My mom and dad, My sister, and niece, (like you Alissa we are a very close knit family. I talk to my Mom at least twice a day and email with my sister every day) The Air Force, and of course all of you here. Where would I be today if I had not had, people like all of you in my life to support and encourage me? Thank you all. Lately been very teary eyed thinking about leaving. Ok time to get a move on. Got an email to my sister to write! Prayers for those who have asked for them and those have not. Special one for Liz! I love ya girl. Have a blessed day. Love you guys.
November will be a busy month, I have to go to training for 3 days in Houston, then I'll have a hysterecomy on November 16th FINALLY! Then comes Thanksgiving and the full-fledged holiday season. I cannot believe this year is almost over already!
I'm thankful for such a wonderful family and lots of great friends that are there when you need them to share in the ups and downs of life. I'm thankful for God, a job, a home, my boys and hubby!

I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
Good morning all...
SOOOO much to be thankful for..to narrow it down for time's sake, for today: I am thankful for TRACEY, JACK and KATHY...and they know why...their friendship is priceless, especially when I'm being such a grouch
I want to be sure and mention: Special prayer request for our GAYE, as she faces back surgery tomorrow. I'll make arrangements, with Steve, for updates, and post them, as I get them. Our girl has been in some major pain and sure deserves a break.
Gotta get my hiney dressed and out the door..life is pretty BUSY these days. I didn't pick the best time to decide to forego my hormone pills, so, after a week without them, my family voted--got the refill yesterday-I restarted them today...
Hope everyone has a great day!
I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!

We Can Do Hard Things
I have an ARD meeting this morning at the high school so will start the day there and head to my other office mid-morning. My husband will be home a couple of hours after he gets off work today. Ben will come home tonight after his biology lab or early in the morning. Weatherwise it looks like he would be better off leaving tonight to try to miss the bad weather heading our way. My husband's uncle died yesterday and the graveside service is tomorrow morning at 10:00. I went to visit with the family after work yesterday. He had cancer and was in his upper 80's. At least he didn't suffer long. They're only doing graveside since his wife is older too and can't hold up to a long visitation and 2 services.
I have lots of lemon bars, brownies, and cookies to make for food for the funeral lunch tomorrow and for tailgating at A & M Saturday. We'll head to Aggieland Saturday morning bright and early for the 11:30 game. They changed the time on us this week...guess they are broadcasting it.
Prayers for Gaye's back surgery and for all others who need it.
Danni...enjoy your Tim time.
Have a great Thursday!
