Obedient October B2B Thursday
Yesterday was NOT my best day of eating. I ate what was on my list, plus 2 very small pieces of cake someone brought to work and 3 lumps of cookie dough...what was I thinking? I also had a SF Russell Stover's blueberry granola bar. Wt. is holding steady today. Hope tomorrow is not better. It could have been worse; visited family last night and there was tons of funeral food, but I didn't eat anything...I drank my sf McD iced coffee the whole time and ate my roast when I got home.
Today's plan:
lots of liquids
protein coffee already downed
Atkins shake
chef salad w/ lt. caesar for lunch
supper: leftovers of some kind...have good protein choices.

At GOAL and BMI is healthy!!
Yesterday I did great until dinner. I had FRIED shrimp for dinner. Qunatity was good all around and apparently the calories were good enough that I actually lost 1/2 lb.
Breakfast: protein drink
Lunch: 3 oz steak, 1/2 cup coleslaw
Dinner: 7 fried shrimp
Snacks: pretzel crisps, handful of good and plenty candy.
Plan for today:
Breakfast: bagel with peanut butter
Lunch: 3 oz of steak, coleslaw
Dinner: grilled chicken, roasted new potatoes

Good news, I am down 6 pounds form the 10 I was showing up this week. I knew it wasn't real. My left hand is still a little puffy, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's not somehow related to my illness and maybe my lymph nodes are overworked. Anyway...whatever, I'm feeling better and my puffiness is going away.
Today's plan is to continue avoiding sodium and drink lots of fluids...
B: coffee and more coffee w/ skim milk and 2 slices of turkey
S: frozen berries, skim milk (smoothie) (milk is like mootopia, with extra protein - from Braums)
L: tuna, mixed salad greens, fresh lemon and lots of ground black pepper
S: lf cheese and sf preserves on dr kracker
D: spicy garlic chicken w/mixed chinese veggie (homemade w/no salt)

Yesterday was typical. Good at breakfast and lunch, then a change of plan after work and I find myself in line at Taco Cabana. They have 1/2 price nanchos weekdays 4 to 7. AND I was hungry, so we stopped. THANKFULLY, the chips or something tasted nasty and I only had a few bites and layed in bed dumping. Then I snacked, stupid stupid and I dumped again.
But the scale is down 2 pounds from Monday and I think mine was bloat too with this 'special' week.
Working to get better today. Having Special K hi protein cereal with mootopia, Lunch is chicken breast and peas. Dinner is the last of the hamburger patties.

I made the mistake of going to the grocery store hungry. They had a 2 for 99 cents special on Cheese-Its. Did I mention that I love Cheese-Its? So when I got the in car I broke two of my own rules ... I ate in the car and I ate right out of the box. By the time I got home I had eaten most of the box. Then, when dinnertime came, I couldn't eat much of anything.
I'm planning to do better today.
Today's plan -
B - turkey sausage, cheese & strawberries
Coffee
L - Leftover chicken lasagna with spinach (I'll be eating only the top of the lasagna without the noodles)
D - Salad and Inside-Out Cheeseburgers with roasted cauliflower
