Obedient October B2B Tuesday

My wt. is holding steady at -8 lbs. since 9/1...guess my eat-fest this weekend didn't cause harm thank heavens!

I felt like I needed to de-carb yesterday.  I did well sticking to my plan.

Plan for today:
lots of liquids
Protein coffee already downed
Atkins shake
chef salad for lunch
leftover pork chops cooked in crock pot in a tortilla
hi-protein snack

What's your plan?  Make it a good low-carb one.

I find it's not as hard to stick to plan during the week...it's the getting out of normal routine on weekends that's harder, but as long as the scales not going up...I'm okay with it.

Well my (pms) potato fest MUST come to an end today.  I have had potatoes, cheese and tons O butter both Sunday and last night and it shows all over my arse and on the scale.

So it's back to the protein. can't deny I gotta have it.  Might have to become an egg cuz I will be eating more, but so be it. Time to detox on the carbs. Potatoes are of the devil TO ME. I have no control. There I said it! lol

Breakfast is eggs and cheese
Lunch is ham, turkey and cheese with low carb bread (that stuff doesn't trigger me)
Dinner will be a hamburger patty and (gulp) some kind of veggie.

And water water water water.. I know I have major bloat too.

Where is everyone?  I KNOW there are people out there besides us that are struggling and NEED the accountability that this post brings...COME OUT AND PLAY WITH US!!  I promise, we don't bite.  If you're gaining, or not losing fast enough, or are having trouble getting in your vitamins or water-POST DAILY with us.  We need to be there for each other and there is SUCCESS in numbers.

Anyway, on to me...I gained a tad over the weekend and was great yesterday until the pizza and cupcakes arrived at 7 PM last night and I knew I couldn't escape work for another hour...YUP- I caved.  So for dinner last night I had one slice of pizza and one cupcake.  Scale remained the same so I'm still UP 1 lb.

I just finished making and freezing 3 protein drinks.  I'm about to head to the store to get deli meat for lunch and I'm making homemade spaghetti sauce with meat for dinner.  I'll limit the pasta and add a salad to mimimize the calorie count.  My oregano is going crazy so I decided to make a huge batch of sauce and freeze it.

I'm worried about how spending a week in Arkansas with my mother (who's the best cook in the world) will effect me.  I'm going to look around Walmart today and see what I can take with me for snacks, etc.

Yesterday was not a good day.  I ate too many things I shouldn't have eaten.  Heed this warning, don't try the pumpkin bread at SBX.  It's so delicious that it's evil.  I ate a whole piece and I didn't dump.  Not a good thing.  Then I ate chicken nuggets from Chick-Fil-A.  I was out running errands all day.  When I got home, Patrick had come home early because he wasn't feeling well.  So I just opened some canned soup for dinner.  I found myself hungry again after dinner so I was munching a piece of cheese at 10 o'clock. 

Today I'm hoping to put that lack of control behind me and stick to plan.  Here's today's plan:

B - Greek yogurt, peanut butter and strawberries
Coffee
L - Salad with cheese and chicken
D - Ham & pineapple skewers

Hopefully, I can stick to plan today.  But I have protein drinks on hand in case of emergency.  I've already walked 2 miles this morning.  Now, I need to go start my laundry.

Go out and make it a good day.

Today I feel more in control.  I have had my vitamins and crystal lite so I am on schedule so far today.  At OH conference there was a vendor that had protein products that was quite tasty.  I have decided to try them for a couple of weeks to get myself back on track.  By emptying my pantry and starting anew I hope to be able to drop the 15 pounds I've regained and get back to losing.  I was about 20 pounds short of goal when I started the regain.  So.....I have 35 lbs to get to where I want to be. 

Todays plan:

Breakfast:  Orange pancake - low carb, low fat
snack:  chocolate protein pudding
lunch:  omelet
snack:  Peach Mango protein drink
Dinner:  Grilled chicken, salad, brocolli

All my vitamins and water

Glad you joined us Linda.  I never got the last 10-12 lbs. off I would have liked to and have gone up 20 over that.  I would love to lose 30 - 35 lbs. too...maybe we can do it slowly but surely!
