3 week update and a WooHoo!
Today makes me 3 weeks post-op and I am doing great! No pains, lots of energy, although a do still take a short nap in the afternoon by Dr.s orders! I've been slowly adding mostly soft foods into my diet but I've ventured into some of the full foods. I was really expecting to have trouble with eggs but they have cause no problems at all, no matter how I fix them. We went out to eat for the first time last night. I was really afraid that after my pouch was full I'd still be wanting to taste the food but as soon as I got the signal I was full, the food just didn't look good! I quickly put the rest in a go box so I wouldn't have to look at it! The whole restaurant experience was nice, except for finishing first and waiting for everyone else to finish...and I couldn't even sip water to kill the time! Not a lot to report...everything is going great, no problems, no dramas!
My only problem has been some constipation but I'm working on that. Some days I get more than my needed proteins and water and other days it's a true struggle. Basically if I leave home I get off track and come up short. I now have a small cooler and a bag of snacks that I can throw together quickly when I'm going to be gone more than an hour.
As for the WooHoo....for the first time in over 20 years I weight less than DH! At 6'6" he's a full foot taller than I am so it's been a big deal to weigh less than him! And you can bet I've been rubbing it in all day! Luckily he's a fun soul and enjoyed the fun I was having. I can't wait for the rest of this journey!

Glad to hear you are still doing so well !!
I just opened up my second package of elk jerky yesterday - everybody I have shared it with loves it. (then I have to hide it)
I have had my head buried in another forum board the last couple of days learning how to make mead (honey wine) from my 's honey. Got a gallon jug fermenting in my kitchen cupboard as we speak.
