The NIGH****CHMAN - Tuesday 10/6

Good afternoon.  Another rainy, yucky day here in the Metromess.  But that is all right. Life is wonderful.

Short night tonight, as Mary and I are going to the Fair tomorrow.  I enjoy going.  Just being there.  I know we are buying a new frying pan there.  We bought one last year and it is great.  This year we want to get a bigger one.  I have never had a pan so easy to clean.

Not much else going on in my world.  How about you?

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Hi George;

Sorry I've been absent this week. It's been a crazy rollercoaster.

We had an unsuccessful open house on Sunday, but had another showing today. I was thinking today about how random finding the right buyer is and it seemed to put me at peace. I know our home is just waiting for the right family to find it.

The server for my email address that I use on my resumes went down on Saturday night. Michael's cousin has the easiest access to it and we got in touch with him on Sunday morning when it still wasn't working. He responded that he would have it up within 5 days. I pressed Michael to emphasize to him that this is the email address on my over 300 resumes circulating out in the world and I needed it up and running on Monday. He said he'd do the best he could. Monday, I woke up and still no email. I worked on some other job searches and headed to the gym. On my way back from the gym, I tried to access my email from my phone. Still nothing. I got home and asked Michael to please find out the status while I was in the shower. When I got out of the shower, my email was working and 7 new messages had loaded. Two of them were for second interviews and one was an inquiry for more information from a resume I'd sent out on Friday.

Then, this morning, I got calls from two other companies. One I'd applied with yesterday and the other I'd applied on Friday. So, I've got 4 interviews starting tomorrow. I'll be leaving San Antonio around 11am and be up there until at least Friday mid-day, but I'm angling to spend Friday night, too so I can get some girl time with some of my favorite gals.

I've very nervous as my Thursday morning interview mentioned that they may make an offer on the spot. Eeek! I'm not ready to make a decision that quickly as my Thursday afternoon interview is doing a lot of the things I loved from my old job. Mainly calling on and selling to ad agencies. My head is spinning right now and I still need to do research for Thursday afternoon and Fridays interviews and pack.

I hope all is well with you. Enjoy the Fair! Prayers for all who need them.

Blessings, Jennifer

Take a deep breath, say a prayer.  The Lord will lead you in the right direction.  Maybe this is the job He wants you at.  Whatever happens, best of luck to you.

Thank you. I had coffee mixed with my protein shake for breakfast this morning. Since I'm usually a caffeine-free girl, I think I'm still buzzing from that. I think I'm going to take a valium to be able to sleep.

I wholly trust the Lord will put me in the right place. I just hope He's ready to put me there this week. :)
