Saturday Express
Good morning everyone. I slept in until 8 because it was almost 1 when I went to sleep. It was near midnight when we got in from Beaumont. Our Livingston Lions beat Ozen 43 to 29. It was their homecoming. They had a great band and were really gracious hosts. We played at the Bmt. Westbrook stadium. While I was there I thought our Little Liz probably sat there too as a perky little teen in high school! I don't think they have done any maintenance on their restrooms at the stadium since Liz was in school. The sewer water bubbled up where you had to walk when the commodes were flushed. It was pretty gross! I didn't think anyone else had as bad of stadium restrooms as Livingston. We at least don't walk through sewer water!
I have to make an HEB run for something I forgot yesterday and Lowe's run for stuff to fix a toilet. Ben and I will get the yard mowed and weed eaten today. We're also fixing a brisket roast, potatotes, carrots, cabbage, and I'm not sure what else to take to my husband's uncle and aunt's house late this afternoon...hospice has been called in for his uncle due to cancer and we need to feed and visit them. Ben wants to be home in time to watch the Aggie game at 6:00 or so on ESPN 2. I think my husband may come home after work to visit Ben and his uncle tonight.
Prayers for safe travels to Steph, prayers for Alissa to heal and Meggie and her mother and all others who need them.
Have a great Saturday.
