Health concern

For a number of years my endocrinologist has been keeping an eye on a "cold nodule" in my thyroid. Yesterday he did my annual ultrasound and discovered it is growing, so in a couple of weeks he'll be sticking a needle into it and doing a biopsy. I've had this done before, when he first discovered it, and it's not a lot of fun. Not really painful but very creepy feeling - you can feel the tug when they pull out the biopsy.

The good news is that if it is cancerous, it's probably about the easiest to cure.

Oh, and they are doing the biopsy the day before my 40th high school reunion. Oh joy.

Lynne....prayers coming your way that they will find it to be non cancerous !!!!    My 40th HS reunion is in 2 yrs.   I can't wait till then to show everyone I am no longer the "fat girl" that I was all my life.   Please keep us informed on what is going on with you.
