My All Knowing TMB friends: questions!!!

I'm going to Starbucks with some friends tomorrow night...I don't prefer just coffee...I do lattes or fraps...what can I drink there that tastes good and is nsa? Yall rock...

Also...I have a friend giving me a mountain bike, but it needs the wheels (and maybe tubes?) replaced...does anyone know where I can buy them? And about how much they cost???

Thanks guys!

Regarding your question on bike tires, I will PM Eric (OCD).  He does a lot of biking.  He lurks more than he posts now, so I will make sure he sees this.

Kim 2 easy for me answers:)

starbucks - skinny vanilla (or carmel) latte, no whip - possibly decaf at night

Bike tires - load bike or at least wheels into car go to NE corner of 75 and Spring Creek, behind the taco place, starbucks and panda express (yep directions from a "fat" chick it's all about food places LOL)  there is a good bike place there - they will not only sell you what you need they will install them, air them up and not charge you laybor - I have had pretty good luck with them NOT selling me crap I don't need

FYI I would also grab an extra tube, small bike pump and bike tire tool while there (with small bag to stuff it all in under your seat $25-45 depending on quality of pump-I carry cheap one - hubby carrys nicer one) - b/c if you are riding the trails in plano and have a flat it is almost a guarutee that someone who knows how to change a bike tube will ride past and be willing to help - beats the hell out of pushing a bike home LOL

there is also proformance bike parker and 75 - by target but closer to 75 by enterprise rental and while I am all about supporting small businesses I, as a woman who is not micanically inclinded have gotten much better service at the other place - and there is Richardson bike mart - cambel and preston (I think) but they tend to be the same(but fun to go drool over super nice stuff I will never buy and to rent fun bikes) - the place on 75 and spring creek always worked the best for me

peace and happy riding

Performance Cycle is good and also Plano Cycling.  They are just off 75 a little north of 15th street.  If you bring your bike in, they can hook you up with whatever you will need to get on the road.

can't help you with the bike tires, but for Starbucks I like the skinny vanilla latte with a scoop of protein.  Or SF caramel but I like the vanilla better.

George got a hold of me but I didnt check my messages until yesterday. proformance is always good for bike stuff. I like them more then Plano Cycling just because they will price match with aynbody. Tubes should be less then $5 but like Danni said get an extra one and keep it in the seat pack.
