Thankful Thursday WLS Express

Ha!  I read the train early, but never got around to posting.  That's how exciting it is over here in Skeeterville.

Absolutely nothing going on around here.  King is feeling better, I'm still waiting on a project, laundry is done - why am I not napping?

I had lunch with my mother and sister.  My mother lost vision in her left eye when she was in her 20's due to a botched cataract surgery (waay before laser was available) and had a blood vessel "leaking" in her right eye and had lost vision.  She's been going to the Retina Institute for the last couple of weeks getting treatment.  They have finally got the bleeding stopped and her vision tested at 20/30 today.  She has a release to go back to work tomorrow.  Thank goodness!  She (we) were really worried what would happen if her vision couldn't be restored and she had to go on disability. 

Looks like water aerobics tonight and then it's the weekend.  We are going to the deer lease on Saturday to fill up the feeders and see what else needs to be done before 11/7 gets here.

Wish I was going to visit Lynnette at work ... LOL
