DEBORAH-first off..CRAP...then...big ((((HUGS))))...now...I hate that your appt is so far off, but I'm sure that can't be helped, so we'll just use these next weeks to pray POSITIVE prayers, and that God's will be done. There are some mighty prayer warriors here, and I'd put my life in their hands ANY day.

Of course you're scared-I'd be VERY worried about your MENTAL health if you said you were NOT scared. Just please know we will be right here, beside you, whatever the outcome.

It is "mothery" of you not to tell your kids yet--besides--there's nothing TO tell yet. For whatever it's worth, I think you doing the RIGHT thing.

I'm close as the computer-cry...scream...cuss...whatever you need to do!! I've been a nurse 30+ yrs, and sometimes know "stuff". If there's anything I can do, please do not hesitate to ask.

My heart and prayers go out to you - IT WILL BE OK!

My husband and I are both cancer survivors and the main reason is it was caught early.  I actually discovered mine when I had a mammogram before I started my RNY stuff, so my RNY surgery has saved my life twice already! 

So glad you went in for your scope and caught it early.

Praying for you. I always think when they don't send me
to surgery the next day but put off my appointment a
week or two to be a good sign.

Thank you all for your support and prayers.  It is all much needed and appreciated.  I went in because the dr. thought I had a stricture and then I was also passing blood in the stool, so he decided to scope both ends while he had me there.  I am so glad he did. 
I don't know what to think right now.  They said Pre Cancer Cells, and not Cancer.  But, what does that all mean?  There was another polyp but he couldn't find it because it was covered in stool and when he flushed the area, he tried to find it but couldn't. 
Are there other tests that they can do?  I am just beside myself tonight. 
All I can do, is pray and leave it in the Lord's hands.

Deborah, my experience with pre-cancer is exactly what it sounds like.   If it isn't taken care of it could turn into cancer.  I've had it in the female area of my body.  They did a biopsy and removed the area.  Since then my paps have come back ok.  Not normal but not pre-cancer either.

 I know it sounds serious, but PTL they found it NOW, in the pre-c condition.   The right treatment now should probably result in an excellent prognosis  for you ..    Sounds like you were quite lucky (or ...  !   )

  Unfortunately, too many people never get checked or wait until it's too late ..

 Deborah.....I am so sorry they found precancerous cells.   I have had precancerous things removed too.....but remember it is PRE CANCEROUS !!!!  That is a good thing.   Hopefully it will end up being no big deal in the end.   Prayers coming your way still for God to give you peace in this situation.    Please keep us updated on your findings.   I will pray that the doc won't be too concerned about it.   At least they caught it in the precancerous stage !!!   Love you and really enjoyed visiting with you at the conference !!!!

Thank you Vivian.  It means so much to me to have my TMB family behind me.  I also need prayers for my baby sis.  I just found out last night she has been in the hospital 3 times this last week.  They don't know what is wrong with her yet.  They have done 2 CT Scans and other tests.  She said she lookds like she is 8 months pregnant since she is sooooo bloated.  They seem to think it may be gall stones but not sure.  She goes to her dr. today to see what the next course of action is. 

It was my pleasure to finally  get to meet you and talk with you face to face.  I only wish we lived closer so I could visit with you more often.

Thankfully they caught it at this early stage before it went into full blown cancer.  That is a blessing.  Prayers going up for you.  I know things will be fine.
