PLEASE PRAY
You know.... When I posted this.... I was VERY UPSET. Then all of the sudden it was like a voice inside me said that everything is going to be okay. I believe that God did this for a reason. My husband was miserable at his job. He was kind of stuck there. He has a hard time finding employment. Now, he will have time off to look for something that will make him happy. He will get unemployment for a while so.... everything is going to be okay.
He didn't get his ASC certifications. He went to school and then couldn't find a job in the field so he ended up going to work for a distribution company. He stumbled into the job as a hydraulic mechanic. He worked for a company that owns Napa.

My DH said he'll keep his eyes and ears open. He said the ASC is not required (then WHY did he have me ask THAT?????) for most positions, because the employers help them get it later. He is a heavy equipment mechanic and knows a million people.

Momma Gina, if you mean auto mechanics/techs, I think you're thinking of "A.S.A.E." certification .. (American Society of Automotive Engineers) ..

NO, my SON, I am talking about ASE..my husband has 9 ASEs , that he has to update annually...I think accidently called it ASC...It's Automaotive Service Excellence...I just looked to be sure. He has a drawer full of the damn things, dating back to the 70s. I guess I THOUGHT it should have a "C" snce it was "Cert"..my bad

Oh Kim....I am SO sorry that this happened to you and your family along with others. Prayers that he will find another job quickly with better pay and benefits.
