If I am not mistaken you have to set that up with your phone service provider. You mean when someone calls in they hear music? That has to be done with provider.

I would like to help you but you cant fix stupid.

They are called Answer Tones (or at least in the AT&T world).  I haven't used an Answer Tone and don't know if you can set different Answer Tones for different callers.

We are forbidden from using them on our company issued phones due to some peoples' poor choice of Answer Tones.

Mel, You sure are reaching out of your comfort zone considering you just got a freaking phone.  ROFLMAO
Now you want to add special rings to us. Be nice when you put mine in!! Do they have ring tones that sing "Bender Biotch"
Loves ya..

T-Mobile calls them ring back tones and last time I checked they were expensive!! It had a monthly charge to use them.

With Verizon they are called ringbacks.  You get them at the same place you can get ringtones.  It tells you if it comes as both a ringtone and a ringback.  They are priced the same but there is a monthly charge of $1 to have it on your phone and it expires after 1 year.  So you don't own a ringback like you do a ringtone.

Damn girl you are geting so savvy with this phone before long you'll be setting up the DVR!!!  Ringbacks are expensive so just have your kids put a "special" ringtone in their phone for you.  Clay has "the wicked witch of the west" theme song in his that rings everytime I call him....hmmm, imagine that.

I think answer tones are 99 cents a month with AT&T.  Go on your providers website and look it up it should tell you how much and what you need to do to set it up.

Mel, I'm not sure if Blackberry allows you to do it, I have sprint and I can use this sight.....it's free!

www.myxer.com We get all our ringtones from here.  You set up an account and it emails the ringtone to your cell phone, you then download and assign.

Oh darn, I'm thinking now we can only use it for incoming calls for a specific caller (ringers) and not ringtones where the caller hears it.......it is neat though, if you want to know who is calling by the song.
