The NIGH****CHMAN - Tuesday 9/29
Today is Eddie's birthday. He is 12 years old now. Wow! A good kid.
Caught up on some of the shows from last night. Still have a few from last week. I probably won't catch up for a while, but I will have to choose what I leave behind. Probably save House and Bones for the end of the season, or maybe during Nov/Dec when everyone is running repeats.
Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS ANDSUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.
If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested). Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Well, today was Tennis Tuesday again. The girls had another district varsity match. This time Katy took the match overall. Heather won her mixed doubles playing in the #1 slot (our #1 girl is out injured so coach decided Heather would slot that position) with her partner while Viktoria and her partner won their doubles in slot #3. Viktoria then played line 4 singles and easy won 6-2, 6-1. So, they did good. Heather couldn't play a singles match because the other team's line 6 girl was not playing for some reason. So, both girls will be on cloud 9 when they get home. I'm anticipating hearing from them soon. The entire team went out to eat after the match.
I will check back with you later on...
I'm still running a fever. I thought I was feeling better earlier, but my temperature continues to rise. I'm achy and sore, but I think that's more from my workout yesterday than from any type of bug. I've slept a majority of the last 24 hours so something isn't right with me. Our neighbor made a big pot of chicken and dumpling soup and sent some over for both of us. That was so wonderful of her.
I was nervous about my phone interview this morning because I wasn't feeling 100%, but it went really, really well. HR is presenting me to the hiring manager. This position is definitely the best fit I've found, yet. I'm not 100% sure that it's the perfect job, but it's got most of the attributes I'm looking for. I should hear from the hiring manager by the end of the week.
I'll be on and off tonight. I'm going to try to get more sleep. Prayers for all who need them.

If I were lying, wouldn't my pants be on fire?!?
I have packed up most of my stuff. At the end of my shift I actually have to take apart my computer and tag it for the moving people. And here I thought we had an IT department.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
