Terrific Tuesday WLS Express

Good Tuesday!!  Hey, it ain't Monday!!

I am at work, hair was good today, computers came up without me cursing at them and the weather is awesome!!  Terrific Tuesday underway...

Tom had a terrific time with the Scouts this weekend.  There is something about him that draws young boys to him.  He was able to use his skills to pass on to the little guys and spent time with his lifelong adult friends that know him better than most people.  It is a part of his life that has been missing for a very long time and to see him return to it is the biggest victory I could ever have hoped for.  WTG Sweetheart. 

I will start a re-post on Halloween later, so start thinking what food you want to contribute.  We are really looking forward to it, I am still praying the weather cooperates.  It is either going to be a blast or a bust, but with all my favorite peeps around, my money is on blast.

Good morning Train Riders!!  I'm up and at em early today.  Skipped the gym to start work early to deal with a fire that was brought to my attention about 8pm last night.  Note to self if I don't recognize the number on the office phone don't answer it after hours.  Turns out my vendor got the same call last night and already has it fixed.  Sure wish I would have known that last night so I wouldn't have worried about it all night.

Not a lot planned today.  Work, doing some stuff around the house and grocery shopping tonight.  I've made up my menu for a couple of weeks now I just need to see what other odds and ends we need.  Sometime this week I'm going to go get a flu shot too.

I had a great time this weekend and learned a lot.  Part of my to do list is to compile some of my notes and figure out a good way to keep them handy.  I've also got to get stuff ready for the Oct meeting of the Collin Cty group.  So much to do!!  But I love being busy.

Today is terrific because...

...I am still on "this side" of the dirt.
...it is another day closer to the weekend.
...I will impact at least one person's life in one way or another.

Three things to make today terrific:

1) I am back to work and business is good!
2) One more sleep and I am off for a day!
3) My husband colonoscopy was all clear so I will have him for many more years!!

Good morning!

Its a terrific day because its a beautiful fall day (my kind of weather). I had the courage to finely measure myself , I know its delayed its lol, I have lost 106 inches since I started this journey. I'm going to take a half a day off to get some things done.

I had to pick up my son from school yesterday, he was huing and spuing. He woke me up in the middle of the night with the same thing, he hasn't been running a fever so don't know whats up. It might be the flu, some other tummy bug or he might have been dehydrated from football practice. It is a wait and see at this point. I left him sleeping on the couch (he is in high school) I really felt guilty about leaving him, I'm only 15  minutes from home if he needs me. My 18 yr daughter is home with him too as she doesn't have school today.

Hey You Guys!

Three great things:
I already have dinner in the crockpot and a load of laundry in the washer. One down- two more to go.
The weather is awesome. While the girls are working the goats tonite I may saddle up and ride.
I don't have anything scheduled on the day planner. Free nights are far and few between and I'll take 'em when I can.

My terrific Tuesday:


1.  I have a job.
2.  I have the bestest friends in the world.
3.  I finally got everything unpacked and put away from the weekend.

Looking at the gym schedule for water aerobics and trying to decide 10am or 7pm or both today.  Have a feeling King is coming down with what I hope is only a cold, so I'm sure he'll bail out on me tonight, so I might just go this morning instead.

I've got to get my pictures from the weekend uploaded, although my camera was acting a little goofy and some of the ones from Saturday night are too blurry to post, I'll get what I can up on FB sometime today.  I've so enjoyed looking at everyone else's pictures.

I debated about not posting so I didn't have to try to come up with 3 things.  I didn't get the call for the 2nd interview so I'm pretty down about that.  My boy goes to MEPS tomorrow and leaves Thursday for bootcamp.  So for the terrific to keep me from digging a hole and crawling in:

1.) I have a wonderful husband who adores me.  2.)I had lunch with my son yesterday and we spent some time together going to the bank and he told me he loves me and held my hand.  3.)Umm... I have great friends who won't let me wollow in pity.
