FibreOne cereal cookies

just a quickie to let ya'll know that I've been searching for recipes for something I can eat for breakfast that doesn't involve forcing down another spoonful of cereal, but gives me more fibre. Danni gave me her Move Em Out Muffins, which will be made tomorrow, but I already had ingredients for these cookies so I decided to try them. You use a brownie mix as well as the cereal and I used the low fat brownie mix, so thought I was doing pretty good, they are very tasty and have great texture, very chewy and moist, even several days later, but the fibre thing isn't what I had hoped. In fact, I've bought prunes and am snacking on them now, the cookies aren't doing anything for that particular problem. Don't get me wrong, they taste good enough to enjoy, but not good enough to tempt me to over eat, it's great to think a brownie for breakfast is OK, and they are "good for you" so Hubby hasn't taken any to the office, all good things. Just not effective enough. Is this a common problem for b;ypassers? I had been having much the opposite problem ever since WLS, even to the point where I quit eating salads and cereals, but the last few months I've felt kind of "stopped up".

You can get plain soy milk that is not sweet.  Most of them are vanilla which are sweet.

Thanks Paul, but although soy milk is everywhere here in Singapore, all brands of American cereals aren't. I may be forced back to oatmeal, just for the occasional bowl of cereal.
