3 day Komen Walk in Nov 2010

 I really want to do the 3 day Komen walk in Dallas in November next year...however I don't know anyone who would want to train, be on a team....anyone in the Killeen/Temple/Waco area interested in being on a team and training?
Anyone ever done this walk??? I think it would be a good cause and a good goal....just not really sure how to get started.

I'm doing the 3-Day this year, and if all goes well I hope to do it next year too! I'm in the Plano/Richardson area though, so I'm not much help as far as training goes.

My mom and her friend did it last year and had such a great experience. I'm looking forward to it and really need to start getting my mileage up! I walked 7.1 miles last Tuesday and will hopefully have a higher mileage day this week!

I am sooooo excited for the two of you!!!  I walked last year and it is such an awsome experience.  I am crewing this year (pit stop 3!!!) so whoever is walking will have to stop by and say hi.

Kelly, go to your participant center on the 3day website.  You can put in your zipcode and find the people in your area who are registered for the 3day.  I did that last year and got a new best friend out of the deal.
