Fanny packs are ugly but they definately work. I used one everyday after my plastics to carry what I needed.

Good morning. Wow...the morning we've all been waiting for for a few months is finally here! Packed and near ready for Dana and Terry to be here to head to Big D for the OH conference. I have to put my inside dog outside in a little bit...waiting for daylight so I don't get snake bit since there are woods next door to me.

Hopefully I made the right clothes decisions, but wasn't going to stress too much about...I thought about packing my fancy pirate lady suit I bought to wear to a costume party, but thought for sure ya'll would all think I wasn't just a little crazy, but totally crazy...plus I haven't bought my fishnet stockings to wear with it, so Lynnette would give me an "F" on the outfit w/o proper accessories! I guess I'll just wear my little black dress which is not as "little" as tiny Dana's!

Dana is planning on us arriving at 3:30 or so to the hotel...I think we'll be there about 2:00 or so. Time will tell.

Prayers for Alissa on her foot surgery today.

Yes...thought about that Gina...but can we afford the stores in The Galleria? maybe there's a sale! When Ben was a baby I went to a conference in Houston and was near the Galleria there so I went shopping. I went in a baby clothing store, asked to look at an outfit and saw a $200.00 price tag and about had a heart attack. I said..."well, I'm not sure what size I need...I'll have to check"! I then exited that store.

Good Morning All,
Well, IT"S HERE! Can't wait to see you all at the conference. Looking forward to finally getting to meet my Cajun buddy, Dana. Very special prayers going up for Alissa this a.m.
Went with Charlotte to a Girl Scout organizational meeting last night. She'll be a "Daisy". Didn't have that back in my day :) I think she'll love it.
DD is in Galveston having some much needed R&R. Daddy gets to get the girls all afternoon and the remainder of the weekend. Hope he can handle it. Me, I'm not going to worry about it. I just plan on having some fun!!!
