moving to el paso tx
Welcome!!
Most of the peeps are in Dallas for an OH conference this weekend. Danni who is now in GA is an army wife that was in El Paso a couple of years ago. She will be your source for sure.
If you don't get many responses repost on Monday. You find us to be very active on this board. Hang on, ride the WLS Express everyday and your journey will be fun.

welcome to the texas board - its a great place - ft Bliss is pretty cool if you just relax and enjoy it, but I say that about everyplace we've ever been except for Fairbanks Alaska LOL
congrates on your surgery - it's coming up soon - love my bypass but we have some banders on here that have done fantastic - you do what works for you as a person and you will have sucsess
don't stress over finding a doc - Shriver and Johnson were both doing wls in the WBAMC surgical dept l last I heard - just get your PCM and get a referal to surgical dept and call and get your fills scheduled - they weren't doing Laps when I was there 3 1/2 yrs ago, tricare was not even covering it at that time, so I am not 100% on how you schedule fills but I do know Johnson started doing them as soon as tricare Oked them - also call the surgical dept and get the info on the support group meetings - YOU NEED THE SUPPORT!!!! we all do
Like Que said hop on a daily post called the wls express - its kind of a coffee shop type post of who is doing what, whoses kids are into what, just a what is up with you type thing - we call it the train.
I would definatally repost in a few days - most of the tmb is in Dallas at a confernce this weekend - I am pretty sure we have other peeps at ft bliss
anyhow I am Danni, wife to Tim and mom to the teen, K and Rach 15,7 and 1.5 respectably
peace

Home is where the army allows me to live with my husband
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail

Welcome!!
I'm a bandster, I'm in the DFW area, so I can't help you out on the doctors in El Paso, keep posting, ask questions, this board is filled with great peeps, and great support for what ever type of surgery you have had or are going to have. This is the best board on OH, IMHO! I just want to wish you good luck on your up coming surgrey! Your attitude going into surgery and after is the most important thing, there is not one surgery you can have that is a majic fix all, you have got to learn how to work your chosen tool. Post any concerns you may have, like Danni and Que have posted, there is an OH convention in the DFW area this weekend, so answers may be slow in coming, but please don't give up! Wishing you the best!
