MAJOR WOW!
My son had an assignment in Spanish. He had to write, in Spanish, postcards about his family and then had to interpret them to us in English. We had to sign off on them. He wrote one about his girlfriend, his dad, his sister, and myself. He saved mine for last. When he read it in Spanish, I didn't hear the Spanish word for beautiful like he did for his girlfriend, so I was a little bummed. BUT, when he interpreted mine, it translated into "My mom is low (short). She has gray hair. She is SKINNY!!!. She likes to watch me play baseball." I was astonished and thrilled! It was even okay that he didn't call me beautiful. He called me SKINNY! Nobody has ever called me skinny. I know his view is a little skewed cause I weigh 178 pounds, not quite skinny. But, go**** was great to hear AND from my 15-year-old son!
