Maddie is the dog, right?  And you were having a one on one conversation with her?  Just checking...I thought I was the only one who talked to animals.  lol  I swear my dogs talk back, not vocally but in their own way.  They are smart and they know what I'm saying.  I swear!  Don't laugh!!

Tests are over for the week.  I'm borrowiong DH's laptop till i can get my paper turnd in. Unfortunately we were at Care Now till midnight last night with DD.  She is home with 1021 temp and that's down from last night. She has severe congestion and sore throat. They didn't diagnose strep, saidf culture was neg but test not reliable.  Gave her shot and 3 scrips.  I think she has bronchitis too even tho not diag, biut with the meds it'll work the same anyway.  she sounds terrible and i just dont want it turning into pnemonia.  Anyway, my hands remain fuill to overloaded.  Hoewever, grammy, my mom, has offered to sit with DD if she's not better before the conference.  She completely gets how important this is and so does DD.  They are both wonderful supporters.

Most dogs have a vocabulary of about 250 words or more...yes, only a speech therapist would know this! SOOOO...   you are right - he IS listening. If he starts talking back to you though, please let one of us know- there IS help for such things.

Well, the count down is on.  Excited about tomorrow!  Danni, you're kidding about so many bags, right?  I guess I've packed for so many things over the years that I have finally learned to pack light, only what I need.  This will be no exception.  Have some good quality time with Tim. 

My latest problem with Tori is that she's facinated with the dog water bowl.  Loves to play in it.  Doesn't matter how many times I spat her and move her away, she eventually goes back to it and looks at me like she's thinking, "ha ha, look where I am MiMi".  I promise, this child will be the death of me yet! 

Got to run.  Have an early day today.  Carla, my DD, is getting to fly to Galveston to have a "girl weekend" at the beach with some friends, one of who owns a beach house.  She SO needs this time.  Hope the weather is good for her.  Tony, SIL, is taking off work tomorrow to have lunch with our kindergartner and then keep  Tori after I leave for the conference, then have all three for the weekend.  I'm sure he needs prayers!! 

Prayers for Alissa with her surgery.  I know it will be fine, but we will still be praying for you.  Maybe soon you'll have some relief.  Prayers for others who need them.  Y'all have a great day.

I am soooo jealous of yall getting to hang out this weekend! I miss you guys so much! Something always comes up when I have a chance to see anyone! At least I know that Carla and Terry will make it to another Aggie game and I won't let anything stand in my way next time....so Mama better stay well!! LOL

Today is my brother's birthday. My son has been down with the crud for a couple of days and it came on Bill like a freight train yesterday, so he went ahead and put in for 2 days of vacation. I coughed half the night, but I took my Zicam, Sudaphed PE, Mucinex D and have cough drops. I hope I don't get sent home, I'm trying hard not to cough and that makes it worse! They told us yesterday, "Do not come to work sick, especially if you have a fever or are coughing your head off!". So many here in town have been sick. They have 59 Aggie Cadets Quarantined in the Band hall facilities!

Much needed rain and cooler temps here, down to 58 this morning and I'm loving that!! Prayers and hugz to all that need them. Good luck on the surgery Alissa!

Good morning everyone,

Matt is back to work today so I'm back to my normal routine this morning.  I'm in the process of tapering off all my RX meds so we will see how that goes.  This process is going to happen faster then I originally planned, but that's a good thing.  We are heading over to Allen tonight to have dinner with Josh and Britt.  We should get more time at the conference then originally planned now.  The ex has plans for Josh Sat evening so Matt and I will be at the Casino/Dance.  We just won't stay too late so I get some Josh time on Sunday.  He leave one week from today.  I'm trying to hold it together.

How did the interview go.  Glad we get to see you at the conference.  Could you bring my stuff to the conference.  The following weekend is my God Dau wedding and I need it for that.  May I say again you were beautiful.  I am so happy for you.

Hey You Guys!

Hope everyone is doing well! Lots of stuff in my world.

The girls have their first goat show of the season on Saturday. I feel bad for not being there, but as LL reminded me - there will be plenty of others. The goats are at the Ag barn and Addison's teacher is going to use them to show the kids how to clip. Wohoo!

Kaylee had three goats but then her coach decided to get rid of one since he "wasn't up to par for what Kaylee needed". I was fine with only having to pay boarding fees for two, but then her two coaches went to a huge sale in Stephenville and decided to buy TWO more for a graduation present for her. Their intention was to purchase one, but somehow this other little guy came through and they couldn't resist. So now Kaylee has FOUR goats. Between goat fees( boarding and showing), class ring, senior pictures, a trip to NYC for her prom gown and just keeping her in clothes I think I may go broke! lol 

Dirk went up to Addison's school this morning. Her Algebra teacher is giving us the run around and he decided that it was time to speak with the higher ups. Not only did he get this vice principal's attention but later on this morning he is going back to the high school to talk to the vice principal of math. We don't want the teacher to get into trouble, we just want some feedback and resolution to the issues going on. 

I have nothing packed for tomorrow and nothing washed either. I guess tonite I will throw a bunch of stuff in a bag and hope for the best. I can't wait to see everybody! 

I have a HUGE surprise to share with everyone this weekend!
