The NIGH****CHMAN - Wednesday 9/23
Counting down the hours until the OH Conference. Looking forward to meeting the newbies. Please look for me if we have never met before. I look just like my avatar, except with longer hair and a grayer beard.
Not much for me to watch on my cell phone tonight, except The Good Wife. I want to check that one out any way. Recording a lot today. Top Chef, Law and Order SVU, CSI New York, plus 4 comedies on ABC. See if I like any of the comedies. If not, the recording will stop.
Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS AND SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.
If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested). Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Sandi asks for prayers for her late coworker's (Renee) family, as died in a car accident this morning (9/15).
Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers for her family and for her and her spouse's health issues.
Vanessa also asked for a request for continued prayer for The Dunford Family and all of their friends, doctors, nurses, medical staff, and even all of the people that have never met Elizabeth or the Dunford's but have prayed for and/or have been affected by their story. Elizabeth's pain is over but the real, deep pain has yet to begin - especially for Michelle.
Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers. This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there. Remember them too.
Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2. She has improved, but still needs our prayers. Pray for this brave little girl
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Update... Renee's mother is still in hospital, expected to be out by Saturday in time for the funeral. That's all we really know.
Thanks for keeping the family in your prayers. You can remove from the list if you'd like George.
Sorry I never made it by last night. My sleep pattern is so goofed up right now, I'm having trouble keeping track of my days.
I had a phone interview yesterday morning. It went OK, but I honestly don't have a gut feeling anymore. I'll know by Friday if I made it to the second round. After my interview, I met up with one of my newly laid-off former colleagues (she lost her job on Monday) to see The September Issue. It was amazing and made me miss my monthly trips to NY. Then, I saw my therapist and came home for the evening dinner ritual with the neighbors. After dinner, I took leftovers down to my former colleague and hung out with her until she was ready to go to bed to help keep her from falling into the job loss wallow.
Today, I was at WalMart getting oil for Michael's car and got a call from a recruiter who had found me online and emailed me a couple weeks ago about a position in Houston. When I'd read the job description, it said it was 60-70% travel. I had emailed her back that same day and asked if the travel was all in the Houston area or if it was all over and if it was all over if I had to live in Houston as we're planning to move to the Dallas area. She finally heard back from her client today that they are open to me living elsewhere. I had a brief phone screening with her while standing in the automotive department of WalMart and she scheduled me for a phone interview on Tuesday morning. This position is very interesting to me and seems like a good fit. I like that they came after me, too.
The house hasn't shown since Monday, but I've welcomed the break. This weather is not good for my mood, but I'm trying to keep my chin up.
Have a good night. Prayers for all who need them.

If I were lying, wouldn't my pants be on fire?!?
Had to clean up refried beans that Sarah somehow slimed ALL over the kitchen. She dropped the bowl she had that was half full and I don't know how, but then ended up on the wall, side of the fridge, of course the floor, and UP on the wall darn near five FEET from the floor. I still do not know how THAT happened! It looked like a freakin' diaper exploded in my kitchen. Mommy wasn't a happy camper. Couldn't just wipe it up, had to swiffer the floor to get that shine back on the floor. YUCK!
I also had to do a bit of work on my Suburban. My "check engine oil level" light came on. With all the running around I do, Paul didn't want me to just leave it like that so had me go ask our neighbor to look to see if it needed a quart or what. He told me to go buy 2-3 quarts. I did, but wasn't too comfy with him just loading it up. Thankfully the guy was out all night so I just called my dad and told him what I had planned on doing, just to make sure I was doing it right. Yep....added about a quart and a half and now the light went off. Perfect! I have 106K miles on my Suburban so not surprised something is going on. That has been THE BEST vehicle we have ever owned!!!
Ok, time to go check on poochie.....
