Vitamin Question!!!!!
Hey gang, as you might know from my last post, I've been trying to really get on the vitamin track... I do well during the week except for the calcium because the taste was not working. I've now started with the UpCal D recommended by Dr. B's office. I really like it a lot better then trying to chew up those big calcium horse pills... yuck!! But I am curious if I can drop a scoop of it into my protein drinks???? Anyone use or heard of UpCal D???? Anyone know if it would be ok to put into a protein drink?? It doesn't taste bad in regular water, just kind of grindy... haven't tried it in my lemonade crystal light yet because I'm out at the moment, but I will be trying that tomorrow!!
I know some things cancel each other out etc... I can never remember what vitamin cancels what out to be honest, so I try to take everything 2 hours apart!!!!

I use both the upcal d and the chewy bites from Bariatric advantage. I think you can mix it into whatever you want. Like you I couldn't chew up those nasty tasting things. The chewy bites aren't as good and the creamy bites we use to get over the counter but they are WAY better than any of the chewable calcium tablets I have found. You just can't take the iron and calcium together.
