You got that right about feeding you in the corporate world!

For years they always provided doughnuts for the weekly safety meetings and I got them to start bringing fruit in addition to the doughnuts so some of us would have a healthier choice.  I knew better than to ask for fruit instead of or they would all quit speaking to me :-)  The fruit is quite popular and there are always more doughnuts left over than fruit.

I work for a HOSPITAL and we had a "Health Fair" last year and they served: danish and muffins for breakfast and popcorn and snow cones for afternoon snacks.  I lost my mind.  It was a HEALTH FAIR.  Those in charge got mad at ME for pointing out that these were terrible choices.  So did they learn from that?  NOPE...we just had a "Heartwalk" campaign and they served hotdogs, hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad, brownies and potato chips.  I even had a patient comment on why they would serve that to promote a "heart healthy" event.  STUPID!!

That is so true. They don't offer fruit or vegetables-
it is always ice cream or cookies and cake.
Yet everyone is so concerned about the "Fat American".
Well more than half our grocery stores are filled with
junk food . Carbs are more affordable for large families.
