Been Gone a few weeks
Howdy all. I have been gone for a few weeks due to being a little under the weather.
On August 23 my husband had to rush me to the ER because I was in so much pain in my stomach and back. I had no clue what in the world could be wrong with me so my husband called Dr. Garth and he said for me to get to his hospital asap. Know mind you that is 80 miles away for us and when one is in pain that is not so easy; but we made it. By the time we got there Dr. Garth had called and told them what kind of test he wonted ran on me so they got me right in. Of course with all the crying I was doing I'm sure they just wonted me to be quiet. Anyhow to make a long story short I had what they thought was 2 very small Kidney stones; but wound up being some very big stones and 1 being stuck which required me to have to have surgery and stay in the hospital for 3 days.
Thanks to Dr. Garth for that because the ER doctor was gonna let me go home with some pain meds. He said I would pass the stones in a few days and everything would be fine; but when he called Dr. Garth to report to him he insisted that I stay in the hospital and she a Urologist.
Thank God because I would have to gone back in a matter of time with that stone being stuck.
On the up side of things I am doing much better and I have lost 70 lbs since May 27, 2009.
